Samsung enables Pix payments service via QR Code through Camera app
Samsung has launched an innovation to streamline the lives of its customers. This is a QR code picks scanning integrated into your Samsung Galaxy Camera app. Now, selected smartphone users can make this kind of payment by showing the camera in a QR code.
“Samsung was the first manufacturer to offer this functionality locally with the Camera native app and a qualified banking app. This is another feature described by Eduardo Santos, director of services and innovations for the mobile device sector in Brazil, Samsung. It reaffirms Samsung’s commitment to innovating and streamlining the daily lives of its customers.
How to Pay QR Codes for Samsung Galaxy Camera
This new functionality can be used in a very simple way. After opening the Camera app, point to the QR Code Pix and a pop-up will open asking you to select the app from the eligible banks to continue payment. The selected app will open with pre-filled information, speeding up the process.
Availability
Samsung Galaxy S21 users who have upgraded to One UI 4 will have immediate functionality. Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G, and Galaxy S20 FE users should get the news in December as soon as One UI 4 becomes available for these devices.
Other Samsung Galaxy models follow the same approach, with the camera receiving app updates as soon as the One UI 4 becomes available.
When enabled, the function allows payments via QR code images with applications from Itou and Santander Banks. Banco Inter will consolidate operations in early 2022 and more banks will be available in the coming months.

Samsung has released a new update for the One UI Home app with version 15.5.05.17. This update brings improvements to enhance your experience on Galaxy devices.

At the Watch Out game, SAM will compete alongside gamers. Developed with machine learning technology, Samsung’s Watch Out uses advanced artificial intelligence to work with intelligent agents trained to simulate SAM’s actions in real-time.
During the game, competitors must dodge obstacles and collect as many Galaxy Rings as possible to win. Later, SAM reacts to the player’s actions, offering a direct interaction experience between gamers and their 3D avatar.
SAM x BGS
BGS visitors can enjoy Watch Out on the main stage at the Samsung Booth. Games will be played during the intervals of the stage attractions, allowing the audience to compete in quick matches of up to three minutes.
Depending on their performance in the game, participants will be able to take home exclusive SAM items, such as sweatshirts, mousepads, and pins. It’s pretty interactive activity that the Korean tech giant has prepared for its consumers in Latin America.
If you’ve updated your Samsung Galaxy phone to One UI 6.1.1 and noticed that your photo albums are missing or not showing up in the Gallery app, you’re not alone. Several Galaxy users are experiencing the same issue. Let’s take a look at what’s cause of this issue and how to fix it.
What’s the Issue?
After the major One UI 6.1.1 update, some users have found that when they select an album group in the Gallery app, their photos are not visible. Instead, the album seems to disappear entirely.
The issue often happens when you have albums with the same name activated in two different features – the album hiding function and the album merge feature. When both are turned on, it can cause albums to disappear or not display correctly.
Samsung’s Response
Samsung is aware of this issue and the community moderator has confirmed that it’s a known issue affecting users after the One UI 6.1.1 update.
The moderator has also mentioned that the company is working on a solution to fix these bugs in future updates. In the meantime, you can check some temporary solutions to resolve it.
Quick Solutions
If you’re experiencing problems with your albums, there are two solutions you can try:
1.) Disable Albums with the same name in the Hide Album Feature
For that, you just need to open the Samsung Gallery app on your device >> tap the More Options icon (Three vertical dots) >> Select Hide Album option >> Look for albums that have the same name and turn them off.
2.) Turn Off the Album Merge Feature
To do so, launch the Samsung Gallery app >> click on the More icon at the bottom to enter Settings >> check the option for Merge Album and switch it off.
By following these steps, you should be able to see your photo albums again. You can also check software updates and a Gallery app update. If any of them are available on your smartphone, install them now to get a better experience.
