Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy S21 FE at the beginning of next month, meanwhile, the latest rumor hints at a big upgrade over its predecessor. According to a recent report, the upcoming S21 FE runs Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software system out of the box.

To be mentioned, the Galaxy S21 series was launched in early 2021 with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 pre-installed. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE with the same software installation as the Galaxy S20 series, but things are likely to change this time.

If the Korean tech giant launches the Galaxy S21 FE with Android 12 out of the box, it will be eligible for three generations of Android OS upgrades, making it a better choice than the Galaxy S21 base variant. Also, if the rumor becomes reality, the S21 FE will be the first Samsung phone with Android 12 OS, instead of Galaxy S22 series.

Through an exclusive interview with Unbox Therapy, OnePlus gives an official look at an early build of its upcoming foldable, showcasing the revamped hinge build and “gapless” design. Pete notes that OnePlus retains over 600 patents surrounding elements of the hinge alone.
