In the first quarter of 2021, Samsung announced a powerful Galaxy M series smartphone – Galaxy M62, which uses a flagship-grade Exynos processor. Aside from this, the phone comes pre-equipped with the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software system, which makes it eligible for upgrades up to Android 13.

It’s expected that the Galaxy M62 will receive the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update sometime in the first quarter of next year. Meanwhile, the company is currently distributing new security patches via firmware updates to the device on a quarterly plan. Notably, it will get security updates until Q1 2025, thanks to new Samsung update policy.
