WhatsApp soon lets you hide your Last seen status from specific contacts
WhatsApp has been exploring a new visibility option to let you hide your information in certain contacts for a while now. This feature first appeared in September. At that time, we learned that it will allow you to hide your Visibility, Profile Image, and information about your selected contacts.
The feature has now started to be released with the latest version of WhatsApp beta, and you can try it once you sign up for the WhatsApp beta program. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta v2.21.23.14 for Android introduces a new visibility option for a few users.
To use the feature, you must first download the latest releases from the Google Play Store. Then, you can navigate to Privacy Settings and select the new “My External Contacts” option to add the contacts you want to block. The visibility option is available in WhatsApp Status, Keep Visibility, and information about it.
Once enabled, the selected contacts will not be able to see your WhatsApp Status, Last Seen, and About Information. However, if you disable the last contact, you will not be able to see it in her profile. This limit does not apply to WhatsApp Status and About information.
This feature is currently available for a limited number of beta testers, so you may not see the new visibility option even in the latest beta update. But as it has already begun to outperform other testers, it should not be long before WhatsApp releases it to more users.

Today, WhatsApp introduced the Screen Sharing feature in its Android Beta activity. Some lucky users have received this new function after updating the Android app to version 2.23.11.19 through Google Play Store.
WhatsApp has reportedly added a new button within the video call control panel. Once enabled, you will be prompted to share your screen with the person connected on the call.
This feature will record and share everything displayed on your screen with the recipient. However, the feature may not work perfectly now as the recipient’s WhatsApp may not be on the latest build of Beta.

The Meta-owned company officially announced the availability of this feature on all accounts. You now get up to 15 minutes after sending a message to edit it so you don’t have to worry if you did any silly typo.
How to use WhatsApp Message Editing:
The feature works on any chat window (personal/group). All you need to edit the message is open the chat you want to edit the message from. Tap and hold on to the single message and hit the hamburger (three vertical dots) menu.
It will expand the option where the second will let you edit the message. However, keep in mind that this editing tool only allows you to edit message until 15 minutes after sending, and you can edit multiple times within the duration.

WhatsApp for Android is testing the iOS-like bottom navigation bar on the Beta channel. As spotted by WABetaInfo, the latest v2.23.11.6 build brings a refreshed home screen appears to the messenger, adopting the iPhone-like navigation bar at the bottom.
As the tab options shift to the bottom, the app ditches the ability to switch across tabs with swipe gestures. There are uncertainties about whether the developers will continue to test the new user interface or stop it from hearing negative feedback from the users.
This redesigned interface with a bottom navigation bar is gradually rolling out to more beta testers that install the latest version of WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play Store. If WhatsApp continues, the new design will appear on more accounts in the coming days.
The report also noted that some users are facing issues like the app crashing post-installation of the latest build. If you are facing the same problem, simply, downgrade to the previous version or wait for a while until WhatsApp rolls out the next build or hotfix update.
