Samsung Galaxy S22 3D protective glass image hints at thinner bezels than S21
Samsung is already preparing a series of its next flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S22. Meanwhile, more and more details about them appear on the network. Recently a well-known tipster IceUniverse share live screenshots of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ screen protectors, showing very thin bezels around the screen.
Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will include a smaller and wider display compared to its predecessor – Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. Also, the corners are slightly more rounded.
As expected, smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be the first swallows to receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. Also, smartphones will receive an updated design and upgraded cameras. The older model in the series, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, will stand out with sharper angles and increased similarity to the Galaxy Note series.

That’s not all, though. The tipster said all three flags of the Galaxy S22 will embrace a “new building style”, referring to their displays. Looks like the three of them are going to give more exposure. The tipster has given us an example with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It states that the display aspect ratio of the phone will change from 20: 9 to 19.3: 9.
The same thing could happen to two other phones. It would be weird if only the Galaxy S22 Ultra ended up with a different aspect ratio. It was recently reported that the Galaxy S22 will have a smaller battery than its predecessor. The phone is said to include a 3,700mAh unit, while the Galaxy S21 offers a 4,000mAh battery.
That has raised concerns for users, or the phone will have a small display too. Will that be enough to pay for battery differences, in addition to new students? Yes, it will still be visible, but it certainly doesn’t sound right.
In October 2024, Samsung updated its Galaxy Enhance-X app, which brings the popular Camera Shift feature to more devices. This feature helps you take and edit full-body photos easily. If you own a compatible Samsung device, you can take advantage of the Camera Shift feature.
Camer Shift Feature
The Camera Shift feature lets you enhance your photos by focusing on specific subjects. It was initially available only on the Galaxy S24 series, but now it’s expanded to other models.
The latest update includes a simpler and user-friendly design. Instead of navigating through three separate menus, you can now access everything from a single menu.
With improved recognition capabilities, the Camera Shift feature can now better identify children, upper body shots, and group photos. You can also apply special effects to specific people in group images, giving you more creative control.
Moreover, the update also includes a Colorization feature that adds color to black and white images and a Motion Clipper feature to allow you to create GIFs from Motion Photos.

How to use One UI 6.1 Camera Shift feature on your Samsung Galaxy
Along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, Samsung has officially ended software update support for two more Galaxy devices – the Galaxy M51 phone and Galaxy Tab A7 tablet. This means that these devices will no longer receive any software updates.
Both the Samsung Galaxy M51 and Galaxy Tab A7 were launched in 2020 and came pre-installed with Android 10. They received updates up to Android 12, and are not eligible for more Android updates. Now, these devices have completed their software update cycle.
Although these devices still work well for everyday tasks, users will not get any new features or security patches. This lack of updates can make the devices outdated, as they will not receive important improvements.
Samsung Galaxy M51 and Galaxy Tab A7 have reached the end of their update cycle, after receiving 4 years of updates. Now, users of these devices can think about upgrading to newer models to enjoy the latest features and better security.
Still, both devices are secure and functional for everyday use. The devices run Android 12 and support all major apps, including those for banking, so users can continue to perform their daily tasks without issues. If you want to enjoy the new and advanced features of One UI, newer Samsung models are required.
Bye-Bye Monthly Updates: Popular Galaxy A series phone shifts to Quarterly plan
Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is a well-loved smartphone in the Galaxy A series that has now shifted from a monthly to a quarterly update plan. This means that users of this device will now receive software updates every three months instead of every month.
The Korean tech giant has recently announced its revised update schedule for its Galaxy devices, which places the Galaxy A52s 5G in the Quarterly update category.
Launched in 2021, the Galaxy A52s 5G came with Android 11 pre-installed. Since then, it has received three major Android updates and runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1. However, the device will no longer be eligible for additional major Android OS updates. Users will still receive security updates, which will now be provided every three months.
While the Galaxy A52s 5G will continue to function properly, the shift to a quarterly update schedule means that users may not have access to the latest features and security enhancements as quickly as before.
