Now, jump to the power, it’s confirmed that the anticipated Exynos 2200 flagship mobile platform will use AMD GPU and will directly compete with Apple’s A14 Bionic when it comes to graphics performance. Meanwhile, the availability of the Exynos variant will be limited, reason chip shortage!
Not that all, there’s another leak which is about the battery capacity of the upcoming Galaxies. As per the info, the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will be packed with 3,800mAh and 4,600 batteries, while the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are equipped with 4,000mAh and 4,800mAh batteries. The S22 Ultra is likely to feature a 5000mAh battery.
Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted on this matter!

Galaxy S27’s Exynos 2700 chip may reach 4.2GHz CPU speed
Rumors suggest Samsung’s Exynos 2700 could push its prime CPU core to 4.2GHz on the company’s second-generation 2nm SF2P process. However, reaching that milestone may depend on Samsung Foundry achieving 65 to 70 percent production yields while keeping heat and power leakage under control, according to industry yield data.
A new rumor highlighted by wccftech suggests that the Exynos 2700 chip to be used in the Galaxy S27 series could hit 4.2GHz CPU speed. Samsung has not confirmed these specifications, so they should be viewed as part of the current industry rumor cycle.
Even so, the reported target reflects growing confidence in the maturity of Samsung’s Gate-All-Around process compared to the first-generation SF2 node.
SF2P process aims to improve stability and reduce leakage compared to SF2. Side-by-Side (SbS) packaging is rumored to replace traditional on-package RAM layouts for improved thermal distribution. Heat Pass Block cooling could help sustain higher frequencies without excessive voltage increases.
A headline clock speed always grabs attention, but sustained performance tells the real story. In our testing of previous Exynos platforms, short bursts of peak performance often came with significant power spikes.
Reports surrounding the Exynos 2600 pointed to transient loads approaching 30W under heavy workloads, highlighting how difficult it is to maintain top frequencies without aggressive throttling or heat buildup.
We believe Samsung’s biggest challenge is not reaching 4.2GHz once, but holding that speed consistently during gaming, AI workloads, and extended benchmarks.
If the rumored SF2P improvements, SbS architecture, and Heat Pass Block cooling work together as expected, the Exynos 2700 could deliver meaningful real-world gains rather than just a faster benchmark figure.

T-Mobile leaks Galaxy Z Fold 8 wide and its US price
It’s July 22, and Samsung will unveil its latest gadgets today. While the Galaxy Unpacked is still hours away from kicking off, T-Mobile accidentally leaked the Galaxy Z Fold 8 wide model and revealed its price for the US market.
T-Mobile for Business handle has already started running ads tied to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 wide in the US. The promotional image attached in the post shows off the upcoming device in all its glory and also reveals the price.
The US carrier will offer the foldable phone at no cost through select plans. This isn’t happening for the first time, as US carriers usually bring such offers to retain customers and push others to make a switch for connectivity and devices.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 costs $1899.99 in the US for the base 256GB variant. This is $100 less than the launch price of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Well, it doesn’t mean Samsung has reduced the pricing, but it’s a strategic move.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the real successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The Ultra-branded foldable could come with a starting price of $2,099 in the US. This is a $100 increase YoY, while the 1TB version could be more affected in price.

Google App leaks Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE, Tab S12 amid early launch rumors
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 have appeared in the Google App ahead of launch. The company is reportedly working to unveil these devices by September, and the leaks have already started to intensify.
AndroidAuthority spotted the Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12 on the Google App. After numerous certifications and database listings, this is yet another confirmation that the next wave of Samsung devices is already gearing up.
Notably, the app listed the devices as “Samsung Tab S12 EFT” and “Samsung S26 FE EFT.” Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 are also a part of the listing.
Aside from the model names, the Google App listing hasn’t revealed much information. Early leaks have already shed light on the potential design, specifications, and features.
Recently, an X leaker claimed that the Korean tech giant might announce the Galaxy S26 FE between August and September. The company may also bring the Tab S12 lineup of tablets along with the next Fan Edition.
Galaxy S26 FE could come with Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. On the flip side, the Galaxy Tab S12 series could bring MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500.
Memory crunch has forced Samsung to increase prices across its mobile products. The upcoming FE and tablets would also be victims of the cost jump and bring higher price tags than last year.
Meanwhile, Samsung is set to unveil new foldables and wearables on July 22. The event is set to take place in London, while fans around the world can join the livestream online.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 is not the first (or last) foldable with Wide screen design
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is coming with a new design approach: a wide screen with a different aspect ratio than the previous foldable models. Unlike the TriFold, it isn’t an experimental device as Samsung ramps up its initial sales target.
Is the Galaxy Z Fold 8 the first wide-screen foldable phone?
No. Huawei’s Pura X got there first, launching with a wider form factor months earlier. The Galaxy Z Fold 8, arriving July 22, is the second major phone to adopt this shape, and Apple’s iPhone Ultra could make it three by September.
For years, book-style foldables shared a similar problem: closed, they felt like candy bars tall, skinny, and awkward to hold or type on.
Huawei broke from that mold with the Pura X, giving the cover screen a squarer aspect ratio that’s easier to use one-handed and doesn’t feel cramped for everyday scrolling.
Samsung appears to have reached the same conclusion independently, or simply recognized that Huawei was onto something worth copying.
Either way, the Z Fold 8 is expected to trade its usual narrow cover display for a wider panel, closing the usability gap between the folded and unfolded states.
Will Apple and Samsung keep pushing this design?
If the iPhone Ultra lands in September with a similar wide-fold approach, it would mark three major players converging on the same idea within a single year.
Expect Samsung to iterate further on the Z Fold 8’s successor, and don’t be surprised if Apple treats its first foldable as a template rather than a one-off.
Google, Oppo, and Honor have all experimented with folding form factors too, and a proven layout tends to spread fast once one company shows it works.
