Samsung signed 1st collective agreement with labor management
On August 12, Samsung signed the first collective agreement with the trade union federation. All trade unions formed by Samsung participated in the negotiating group: ‘Samsung Electronics Office Workers’ Union’, ‘Samsung Electronics Gumi Branch Labor Union’, ‘Samsung Electronics Labor Union’, and ‘Samsung Electronics National Labor Union’.
The signing ceremony of the joint investment agreement between Samsung and the collective bargaining team was held at Nano Park on the Giheung Campus at 3 pm on the 12th at the Nano Park, Giheung Campus.

It was held in the presence of Chairman Kim Hang-yeol, Chairman of Samsung Labor Union Joint Bargaining Group, Chairman Lee Jae-shin, Chairman Kim Seong-hoon, and Chairman Jin Yun-seok.
The joint negotiating team and Samsung have agreed with a bit in a joint 95-year joint agreement on July 30 for major and private negotiations, starting with a meeting held on November 3 last year.
The contents of this agreement include the provision of a union office, guaranteed hours of paid union activities, and levels of union promotion activities to ensure union activities.
On the same day, Samsung Electronics and its co-operative negotiating group announced a ‘joint declaration of labor-management agreement’ to build a cooperative management relationship, and announced that they would work together to establish a model labor-management model.

Samsung announced its AI influencer SAM will participate in the BGS (Brazil Game Show) 2024. BGS is the largest videogame event in Latin America. The event this set to take place from October 9th to 13th in São Paulo, Brazil.

At the Watch Out game, SAM will compete alongside gamers. Developed with machine learning technology, Samsung’s Watch Out uses advanced artificial intelligence to work with intelligent agents trained to simulate SAM’s actions in real-time.
During the game, competitors must dodge obstacles and collect as many Galaxy Rings as possible to win. Later, SAM reacts to the player’s actions, offering a direct interaction experience between gamers and their 3D avatar.
SAM x BGS
BGS visitors can enjoy Watch Out on the main stage at the Samsung Booth. Games will be played during the intervals of the stage attractions, allowing the audience to compete in quick matches of up to three minutes.
Depending on their performance in the game, participants will be able to take home exclusive SAM items, such as sweatshirts, mousepads, and pins. It’s pretty interactive activity that the Korean tech giant has prepared for its consumers in Latin America.
