Over the past few days, Samsung rapidly delivered the new security patch to most of the Galaxy devices. The company started rolling out the latest August 2021 security update to the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones.

These smartphone users can identify the update via PDA version numbers: A325FXXU1AUH1 and N950FXXSGDUG6 for the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy Note 8 respectively. However, the update rollout is in at the initial stage so you may have to wait for a bit to get it via OTA.

It’s worth mentioning that the latest update for the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy Note 8 bring just system security improvements. Moreover, the release doesn’t come with any new features or system changes, meanwhile, it enhances the device functions as well as stock applications for a better overall user experience.

August security bulletin

Earlier, the South Korean tech giant published the August 2021 security bulletin, which reveals this update brings fixes for 38 CVEs from Google (including 3 critical) and 8 SVEs from Samsung in order to enhance the overall device stability.

Check for updates manually

You can check for the updates manually by opening your device’s Settings, finding and selecting the Software updates menu, waiting until the phone detects a new OTA update, and finally tapping on Download and install.
