Since last month, Samsung is gradually distributing the latest June patch update to the eligible Galaxy devices in which the Galaxy S21 series became the first to grab it. After that, the company expanded this security patch to the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy A50, and some more.

Yesterday, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G had received the latest security update in China and Hong Kong and now this firmware update has been spotted in select European countries, mainly in the Netherlands. Just like the recent s/w, this new Galaxy S20 FE 5G release comes with the June 2021 Android and One UI patches.

However, it is an initial rollout, you could have to wait a bit longer to get it via OTA. Meanwhile, you can easily check for updates manually by jumping to your device Settings, open the Software updates section, and finally tap on Download and install.

One UI 3.5 to come soon, followed by Android 12

Galaxy S20 FE users will be getting the One UI 3.5 update, which will offer several new changes and minor UI tweaks, just after launching the Galaxy Z Fold 3 this summer. Although it is an incremental update based on the same Android 11 OS, the next year’s Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update will bring massive variations.
