Samsung has started rolling out a new firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ tablets. This new update comes with the May 2021 security patch, which improves the system security against threats.

Just like the recent s/w update rollouts for other Galaxy smartphones, this new update for the Galaxy Tab S7 lineup brings improvements to the Quick Share function for enhanced data sharing between Galaxy devices.

It is noteworthy that Samsung released this update in around two dozen markets so it will not take too much time to cover every single Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ tablet across the globe.

Fixes for Qualcomm 5G modem’s vulnerabilities

Samsung had also patched the Qualcomm 5G modem’s vulnerabilities back in January 2021 and added it to the May 2021 security bulletin. [Read more]

To be noted, dozens of Galaxy phones and tablets have already received the May 2021 security update and Samsung is maintaining an impressive streak in order to provide new security patches.

To check for the updates manually, open device Settings, select the Software updates menu, and tap on Download and install.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series are getting the One UI 6.1 update in India with the One UI build version given below.

One UI 6.1 update provides a new way to create, connect, and more. It brings several Galaxy AI features, such as Circle to Search, Call Assist, Live Translate, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Note Assist, Transcribe feature, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestions and more.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.

After Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for Galaxy A34 5G smartphone users in Korea. The update brings new features and enhancements for a better and next-level experience.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A34 5G can identify the One UI 6.1 update with One UI build version A346NKSU5CXD5. The installation package size of this update is around 2.2GB.

One UI 6.1 introduces advanced image editing, including precise clipping and object transfer between photos. It enhances video editing with speed adjustments and cross-device state sharing.

The update adds depth effects to wallpapers, new widgets, and various font choices for better personalization. Users can now organize Modes and Routines directly from the home screen, and the Quick Share feature simplifies content sharing. The Samsung Find app and child account settings support security and family management.
