Samsung Galaxy S21′ May 2021 update improves Camera and Quick Share in the US
After bringing back-to-back two software updates to the Galaxy S21 series in Europe, Samsung is now expanding this update to the Snapdragon 888-based units in the US.
According to the official info, the US-unlocked Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra receiving the May 2021 security patch with this new firmware update.
Aside from this, the new firmware improves the performance of Camera and Quick Share functions in order to enhance imaging experience as well as file sharing between Galaxy devices.
Users can identify the May 2021 update via build numbers: G998U1UEU3AUDD, G996U1UEU3AUDD, and G991U1UEU3AUDD for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 respectively.

Samsung has pushed the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone in India. Users can identify the latest update through One UI build version F721BXXS7FXE4.
This update enhances the security and stability of the system by installing the latest Android security patch. It includes fixes for 45 vulnerabilities, which comprise 33 from Google and 12 that are specific to Samsung, including 3 critical and 26 high-level CVEs.
The package size of this update is around 400MB file and requires the smartphone’s software to be up to date before installation.
Following the recent One UI 6.1 update, which introduced new features and improvements, this security patch further optimizes the device’s performance.
Users of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone can check for the May 2024 update by going to the device’s settings, selecting ‘Software update’, and then ‘Download and Install’. The fresh patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities including 33 from Google. It includes 3 Critical and 26 High-level CVEs. The update also features 25 Samsung-specific fixes. It makes your device more secure and stable.
Earlier this month, this smartphone started receiving the One UI 6.1 update, which is now available on all Fold 4 models. Samsung has rolled out the May 2024 security update for unlocked models of the Galaxy S23 series in the US. This update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience.
Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra variants are getting the May 2024 security update with One UI build versions S911U1UES3CXD7, S916U1UES3CXD7, and S918U1UES3CXD7 respectively. Users will have to download around 415MB software package to install the update.
The latest security update is already out in India, Europe, and for locked models in the US. The company will soon make it available in more markets. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
To install the update on your smartphone, you just need to navigate toward your Galaxy Settings. Once done, visit the Software update tab and hit the Download and Install button. Let your device connect to the OTA server and allow it to download the new firmware, if there’s any.
