The Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone is the latest foldable offering from Samsung launched back in September 2020. It not only has a unique design language but also delivers the best of the hardware as well as the software experience so far.

Although the company offers best-in-class camera performance in it, with regular updates, it polished it more by installing a bunch of new features and enhancements in the camera functionality.

Adding to this, the Korean tech giant has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which improves the overall system performance including the camera enhancements. However, any specific camera changes aren’t mentioned in the changelog.

Users can identify this update via firmware version F916BXXU1DUCE, which installs the latest April 2021 security patch that secures the device from various vulnerabilities by providing system stability and security so far.

It is worth mentioning that the April security patch is already started reaching a number of Galaxy flagships including the recent Galaxy S21 and Note 10.

Besides, if you own the Galaxy Z Fold 2, you might have received the update notification. But if you haven’t, then you can check by following the below-mentioned steps.

HERE’S HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATE MANUALLY:

  •  Go to Settings
  • Click on the Software updates menu
  • And hit, Download and install.

For now, the latest firmware is initially rolling out in Germany and Russia and soon Samsung will expand this in other important regions including the US, India, Korea, the middle east, and more.
