Samsung Galaxy M12 with 90Hz display and 48MP camera will launch in India tomorrow

Back in December 2020, Samsung launched an affordable Galaxy A12 device that comes with a 6.5-inch TFT HD+ infinity-V display and powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. Due to its budget price tag, it became one of the popular smartphones in the budget segment.

According to the latest news, it seems like the Korean tech giant is all set to launch the rebadged version of the Galaxy A12 in India tomorrow. This handset is actually the next budget M series device that will be known as Galaxy M12.

As far as specs are concerned, the Galaxy M12 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ TFT display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is worth mentioning that this is the second non-flagship smartphone that comes with a higher-refresh-rate display.

On the front, the Galaxy M12 has an 8MP selfie camera, while, it features a quad-camera setup including a 48MP ISOCELL Plus primary camera sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back.

Talking about the processor, the Galaxy M12 features an 8 nm-based Exynos 850 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage along with an expandable microSD card slot for further memory expansion. Previous reports suggest that it will also come in a 6GB RAM variant.

Other specs include a 6,000mAh battery including a 15W charger, dual-SIM card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and will be pre-packed with One UI 3.X (Android 11). Talking about the availability, the Galaxy M12 is already launched in Vietnam and the company is set to launch it in India on the 11th of March through Amazon.in.
