March 2021 security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S21 flagships

Yesterday, Samsung has started releasing the March 2021 security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series. Along with this, the latest update for these devices also includes the One UI 3.1 features and improvements.

Now, the company is rolling out the March 2021 security update for the recently launched Galaxy S21 lineup. Like every new security update, it also increases the system security and brings protection against different levels of threats and CVEs.

Software versions:

  • G9980ZHU1AUB7 – Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
  • G9960ZHU1AUB7 – Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G
  • G9910ZHU1AUB7 – Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

Apart from the security patch, this firmware brings camera performance improvements for an increased photography experience. Besides, it also enhances the system functions in order to refine overall device performance.

Identified by release number AUB7, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series March 2021 security update is initially released in Taiwan. The company will expand this software to other regions in the coming days.

So far, the South Korean tech giant has not released the details of March 2021’s security patch even when several Galaxy devices are already getting this software update ahead of two days of the next month.

  • Open device Settings
  • Select Software updates menu
  • Tap on Download and install.
