Samsung has officially launched One UI 3.0 and it’s first rolling out as a stable update on Galaxy S20 series devices in different markets. Aside from this flagship lineup, Galaxy Note 20 is next in line to grab the major os upgrade.

According to the official One UI 3.0 roadmap, Samsung will upgrade many of its new smartphones to this latest Android 11 based One UI version and the upgrade process will continue throughout 2021. These devices come from Galaxy S, Note, Fold, A, M, and other lineups.

One UI 3.0 offers new design changes in the user interface that reflects on the notification panel, home screen, settings menu, lock screen, and other elements of the UI. One UI 3.0 also offers features from Android 11 such as conversations, bubbles, and notification history.

Aside from the devices that are eligible to get the latest features offered by One UI 3.0, there are also some Samsung Galaxy smartphone users that will not make it up to the Android 11.

These include 2018’s Galaxy S9 and Note 9 models, launched with Android 8 and then received OTA of Android 9 and 10. Since both of these old flagships don’t fall under the new 3 major Android update policy, Galaxy S9 and Note 9 users will be disappointed for sure.

One of the last J-series phones also made to this list of devices that will not receive Android 11. Last but not least, the first M-series phones – Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 are not compatible with Android 11 because of the completion of their major update tier. Check the complete list below.
