Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE press image teases an excellent feature

The premium Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 lineup will be getting a FE (Fan Edition) model later this year. In a recent development, reliable leaker EvanBlass revealed a press image of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which teases an excellent feature.
The press image leak of Galaxy Buds 3 FE follows the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra. The company may launch these two Fan Edition products around two months later, as reported by a trusted Samsung news source.
The leaked Galaxy Buds 3 FE image teases one important feature: silicone ear tips. It’s a hardware solution that introduces a noise isolation feature, available in the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro but lacking in the base Galaxy Buds 3 model.
The Galaxy Buds 3 FE would bring stems with a touch-sensitive area. Users can utilize the stems of these earbuds in many ways, such as adjusting the volume, switching between ANC and Ambient Sound modes, and controlling music playback.

Samsung’s OG Galaxy Buds FE support ANC and Ambient Modes. The company didn’t launch Galaxy Buds 2 FE, and seemingly jumped straight to the Buds 3 branding. The Buds 3 FE may bring enhanced ANC and Ambient sound features.
With Galaxy AI integration available on the Galaxy Buds 3 series, the FE model will also benefit. The hearable device may also improve its dust and water resistance over its predecessor and support key Gemini and Galaxy AI features.
Last month, Samsung dropped the Galaxy Buds Core in select countries. The entry-level earbuds cost nearly $58 in India and bring some premium features. Galaxy AI tools are also compatible, making them a valuable purchase.

One UI 8 Watch news put Galaxy Watch 4 in spotlight, then came the twist

Samsung recently confirmed the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series, but the latest move raised eyebrows. The smartwatches are starting to receive a new software update, which brings a patch from the past.
Galaxy Watch 4 and Classic are getting a new update in July that installs the May 2025 security patch. The software indeed brings security improvements, but not the latest, and what’s more, we can expect from a 4-year-old wearable.
One UI 6 Watch-based May 2025 patch is available for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Classic. It can be identified via PDA build version ending with IYE9. The software weighs 125 megabytes, and the patch is dated May 2025.
You can use the Galaxy Wearable app to install the latest update.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 series in August 2021. It was the first smartwatch line from the brand, which marked a major shift from Tizen OS to Wear OS. Samsung then committed to four years of software updates and support for the watches.
It’s mid-July, and One UI 8 Watch Beta is just available for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra. Samsung is preparing to expand the Beta Program to the Watch 6 and Watch 5 series, with the Watch 4 would directly receiving the Stable update.
One UI 8 Watch is indeed coming to the Watch 4, but the lineup will be reaching its end-of-life timeline next month. Following launch in August 2021, the Watch 4 will hit 4 years of its worldwide release next month, as well as the end of support.

Samsung’s 3 great health features make Galaxy Watch more helpful

Samsung Health app is getting updated in line with the new Galaxy Watch models. The newly unveiled Galaxy Watch 8 series and Watch Ultra come with three major health features that are now supported on the Samsung Health app.
Galaxy Watch 8 and Ultra come with three big features, namely Antioxidant index, Vascular load, and Running Coach. Notably, these are the same health monitoring features that Samsung introduced as part of its One UI 8 Watch Beta.
Samsung Health app’s v6.30.3.011 update, which was first released on July 15, enables these tools for Galaxy Watch 8 and Ultra. Installing the app confirms that Antioxidant index and Vascular load are limited to the latest smartwatches.
Meanwhile, the Running Coach is expected to be available on select older models like the Galaxy Watch 7 series. Beyond that, we may witness an expansion of Antioxidant index and Vascular load features to more watches in the future.
Antioxidant Index is a first-of-its-kind smartwatch feature that measures carotenoid levels in the body. Galaxy Watch users can check their antioxidant status by placing a thumb on the BioActive Sensor on the back of the watch for five seconds.
- It provides the ease of monitoring aging-related health and offers intuitive insights into dietary and lifestyle habits.
Vascular Load is a that built to let users monitor cardiovascular health during sleep. This Samsung Health tool combines data such as sleep duration, physical activity, and stress levels to offer a more holistic view of overall wellness.

Running Coach is another useful feature that starts itself after a 12-minute run. It analyzes performance data, categorizes running ability, and generates a customized three- to five-week training program for users.

One UI 8 Watch early access opens soon for Galaxy Watch 6, Classic

Samsung will soon open early access to One UI 8 Watch for Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic users. Last month, the Beta Program went live for the Watch 7 and Watch Ultra models, but Samsung is now preparing for an expansion.
While users eagerly await the One UI 8 Watch update, Aptivi discovered signs of an early access launch for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. Samsung’s test firmware servers have listed Beta builds for the two smartwatches.
Samsung last month confirmed that the Watch 5 and later models are eligible for the One UI 8 Watch Beta. At the Unpacked event, the company also announced that the Stable update will be provided to Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, too.
Similar to the Watch 7 and Ultra strategy, the Beta access may be limited to South Korea and the US. The first Beta for the latest models was released on June 30, and users are now anticipating the next Beta firmware with improvements.
The new builds spotted on fota server are as follows (via Aptivi):
- SM-R930: R930XXU1ZYG2 [KOO, XAA]
- SM-R940: R940XXU1ZYG2 [KOO, XAA]
- SM-R950: R950XXU1ZYG2 [KOO, XAA]
- SM-R960: R960XXU1ZYG2 [KOO, XAA]
With Samsung now free from product unveiling, users can expect swift progress in the software department. The One UI 8 Beta is also available on the S25 series, and device expansion is in question due to Samsung’s silence.
All Korean users of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Classic will be able to join the Beta Program. Meanwhile, the US availability may be limited to just T-Mobile subscribers, more specifically, LTE models might be exclusively invited.
One UI 8 Watch update brings refreshed tiles and smoother animations. The stable upgrade would also extend the battery life of your wearable. Samsung is also preparing to offer new Watch 8 faces to older smartwatches; read more:

Samsung will soon offer new watch faces from the new Galaxy Watch 8 and One UI 8 Watch OS to older models. The company is preparing to expand the new faces, which would soon pop up on your wrist gadget.

As shown in the images, Samsung’s One UI 8 Watch has at least 7 new faces for the Watch 8 series. These screen walls are the most stylish ones ever provided by Samsung, which will bring a complete makeover to your Galaxy Watch.
These new faces from Watch 8 are coming to your Galaxy Watch:

As the expansion has already begun, Galaxy Watch users can look forward to a new Galaxy Wearable app update. The new watch faces will be provided through the Wearable app’s update, but there may be a Wear OS 6 requirement.
Galaxy Watch becomes the immediate beneficiary of Samsung’s new software enhancements. Recently, Google started rolling out AI assistant Gemini to Wear OS 4+ smartwatches, mainly from Samsung’s Galaxy Watch lineup.
Now, the latest findings suggest Samsung has plans to bring plenty of new stylish faces to all Galaxy Watch users. Meanwhile, note that the rollout is gradual, and you may have to wait longer if your Watch model is older.
