Samsung Galaxy S26 series

Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is already making headlines ahead of its expected launch. A new screen protector leak has revealed the possible size and design of the upcoming Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

According to the leaked screen protector, the Galaxy S27 and S27 Pro appear almost the same in size. However, the S27 Pro may be slightly wider than the regular S27.

The Galaxy S27+ is expected to be bigger, while the S27 Ultra could be the largest phone in the lineup. This is as per the display size revealed via screen protectors.

Earlier leaks suggest that the Galaxy S27 may have a 6.27-inch display. The S27 Pro could come with a 6.47-inch screen. The S27+ may have a 6.66-inch display, while the S27 Ultra could feature a 6.89-inch screen.

The leaked screen protectors also suggest that Samsung may not make major changes to the front design. The new phones could look similar to the current Galaxy S series. The S27 Pro and Ultra may also get Privacy Glass, which makes the screen harder to see from the side.

Samsung may also bring several hardware upgrades. Some Galaxy S27 models could use the new Exynos 2700 processor. The phones may also offer more RAM and storage. The S27 Ultra could reportedly have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

However, these details are based on leaks and rumors. Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 series, its specifications or prices yet.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE grabs October 2026 update in the US

Published

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE image

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has now joined the growing list of devices that have received the October 2026 update. The company has apparently sped up its monthly update distribution after initiating the One UI 9.0 rollout.

Verizon pushed the S741USQS2AZI5 update to the Galaxy S26 FE in the US, bringing the latest security patches released in October 2026. Samsung is expected to share the details of its October 2026 SMR next week.

Galaxy S26 series is now widely receiving the One UI 9.0 update. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 FE ships preloaded with the latest version. That said, the October 2026 patch comes as an incremental update to improve security.

Users can check for the latest update through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. The rollout has just started in the US, so a wider distribution may take some time, but not weeks or months.

What’s changing:

  • The current software update provides the most up-to-date Android security patches for your device.

The changelog mainly highlights system security improvements. However, Samsung updates clean up the system software for a better user experience. Temporary files would be deleted to free up storage for faster performance.

Galaxy S26 FE supports Seamless Updates technology. This solution ensures that most of the extraction process occurs when you are online. A quick simple reboot completes the installation, reducing a heavy shutdown period.

Samsung increased Galaxy S26 series prices in the US – Here are the new rates

Published

Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra

After India and South Korea, Samsung has now increased the prices of the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in the US. The company’s latest flagship phones now come with a higher price tag than before, and a memory crunch is to blame.

Starting October 1, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 base prices start at $1,000, Galaxy S26 Plus at $1,200, and Galaxy S26 Ultra at $1,400 in the US.

Lower storage tiers are seeing smaller impact, but your wallet will face the heat if you intend to purchase a higher storage model such as 512GB. Buyers of the Galaxy S26 Ultra 1TB model may even change their mood now (via PhoneArena).

Here are the new rates

  • Galaxy S26
    • $999.99 with 256GB storage
    • $1,199.99 in a 512GB variant
  • Galaxy S26 Plus
    • $1,199.99 with 256GB storage
    • $1,399.99 with 512GB
  • Galaxy S26 Ultra
    • $1,399.99 with 256GB storage
    • $1,599.99 in a 512GB configuration
    • $1,999.99 with 1TB storage

Samsung has formally raised the prices of its flagships, but you may still score a great deal at your nearest local store or e-commerce. If you are planning to purchase a new Galaxy, don’t wait long, as the situation won’t ease soon.

Galaxy S27 Ultra could be very expensive

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S27 series early next year. The next lineup reportedly adds a fresh Pro version with a compact size and great features.

Judging from the current scenario, Samsung may position the Galaxy S27 Pro as an alternative to the Galaxy S27 Ultra and justify the price jump, which is unavoidable.

We’ve seen a familiar pattern with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 this year. The company launched Fold 8 at a lower price than the Fold 7, but the Fold 8 Ultra has gone pricier than before.
