Samsung Galaxy S27 series screen protector leak shows size differences
Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series is already making headlines ahead of its expected launch. A new screen protector leak has revealed the possible size and design of the upcoming Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
According to the leaked screen protector, the Galaxy S27 and S27 Pro appear almost the same in size. However, the S27 Pro may be slightly wider than the regular S27.
The Galaxy S27+ is expected to be bigger, while the S27 Ultra could be the largest phone in the lineup. This is as per the display size revealed via screen protectors.
Earlier leaks suggest that the Galaxy S27 may have a 6.27-inch display. The S27 Pro could come with a 6.47-inch screen. The S27+ may have a 6.66-inch display, while the S27 Ultra could feature a 6.89-inch screen.

The leaked screen protectors also suggest that Samsung may not make major changes to the front design. The new phones could look similar to the current Galaxy S series. The S27 Pro and Ultra may also get Privacy Glass, which makes the screen harder to see from the side.
Samsung may also bring several hardware upgrades. Some Galaxy S27 models could use the new Exynos 2700 processor. The phones may also offer more RAM and storage. The S27 Ultra could reportedly have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
However, these details are based on leaks and rumors. Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 series, its specifications or prices yet.

Samsung making 10% more Exynos 2700 but S27 Ultra looks safe
Samsung has reportedly started mass production of Exynos 2700 to be used as a Galaxy S27 series chipset, and the target has been ramped up by about 10 percent compared to the Exynos 2600.
Trusted Korean news outlet TheElec reports that Samsung is making 10% more Exynos 2700 chips than Exynos 2600. The increase in production suggests that the company’s in-house SoC would be expanding its utilization.
More Exynos 2700, but S27 Ultra looks safe
Samsung is making four Galaxy S27 series models this year, including a new Pro version. It’s expected that the Galaxy S27 Pro would also be equipped with Exynos 2700 chipset in select markets, including Asia and Europe.
Until last month, the MX division had not finalized the Exynos 2700 adoption rate, but it has now set the volume to be installed in the Galaxy S27 base, Plus, and Pro models and entered front-end (wafer) mass production.
Internal sources suggest that Samsung is quite optimistic about its next in-house chip. The second 2nm Galaxy processor would compete with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, and the performance battle could be neck-and-neck.
Samsung’s System LSI arm desperately wants Exynos in the Ultra model. However, it is a very tough call for Samsung’s MX Business. Galaxy S Ultra is the highest-selling Android flagship, and performance is a key metric.
Even though production is getting ramped up, the Galaxy S27 Ultra looks safe from Exynos 2700’s adoption. The company may continue to power its top-tier flagship model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite series chipset.

Exynos 2700 scores point to a big performance jump
Samsung is expected to introduce the Exynos 2700 next year, and the first performance numbers are already giving us an early idea of what the company may have achieved with its next-generation silicon.
According to an early performance report shared by X user @kro_roe, the Exynos 2700 is consistently reaching around 3,900 in Geekbench 6 single-core testing.
Geekbench 6 results suggest Exynos 2700 could deliver a substantial CPU performance increase over the Exynos 2600. The chip reaches around 3,900 points in single-core testing, compared with roughly 3,100 to 3,450 for its predecessor.
That would put it noticeably ahead of the Exynos 2600, which has reportedly recorded scores between 3,100 and 3,450.
The Exynos 2700 is still under development, and Samsung has plenty of room to tune its silicon and software before commercial devices arrive.
Samsung is reportedly moving toward a dual-prime-core CPU configuration using C2 Ultra cores, alongside eight C2 Pro cores. LPDDR6 memory support and an Xclipse 970 GPU have also been tipped.
Meanwhile, supporting newer memory does not necessarily mean Samsung will use it across every Exynos 2700-powered device, particularly if memory costs remain elevated.
If these specifications hold up, Samsung appears to be targeting both higher peak CPU performance and a stronger overall platform.
The final Exynos 2700 will be judged less by its headline Geekbench score and more by sustained performance, efficiency and thermal behavior.
For now, the 3,900-point result is best viewed as a promising early indicator, not a guarantee of what the Exynos 2700 will deliver in the Galaxy S27 series flagships.

Samsung’s Galaxy A-Series phones are now more expensive in the US
Samsung has increased the prices of several Galaxy phones in the US. The price changes affect four phones from the Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A57, Galaxy A37, Galaxy A27, and Galaxy A17.
The price increase depends on the model and storage. The phones are now $20 to $70 more expensive than before.
The Galaxy A57 has received the biggest price increase. The 128GB model now costs $599, compared with $549 earlier. The 256GB model has gone from $609 to $679. The Galaxy A37 has also become more expensive. The 128GB model now costs $489, up from $449. The 256GB model now costs $609, instead of $539.
Samsung has also increased the prices of its cheaper phones. The Galaxy A27 now costs $379, up from $349. The Galaxy A17 now costs $269, compared with $249 before.
The higher prices come as the cost of phone parts continues to increase. One major problem is the rising cost of memory, such as RAM. Smartphone companies are paying more for these parts, which can lead to higher prices for customers.
The Galaxy A17 has been affected more than once. This is the second major price increase for the phone. It launched in January at just $199. At $269, it now costs more than 35% more than its original price. Samsung has also recently increased the prices of some Galaxy S26 models. This shows that rising costs are affecting more phones across the company’s lineup.
For US buyers, these changes mean that several Samsung Galaxy phones will now cost more than they did when they first launched.

Samsung’s first Googlebook spotted on Geekbench with Android 17
Samsung could soon launch a new type of laptop that runs Android. A Samsung laptop has appeared on Geekbench, giving us some early information about the device.
The laptop is listed with the model number Samsung XE940XSA. Unlike Samsung’s usual Windows laptops, this new device is reportedly running Android 17. It also does not appear to use Google’s ChromeOS.
The biggest surprise is the processor. The laptop is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite chip. This is a powerful processor that is also used in some Windows laptops.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Snapdragon X Elite inside this laptop has 12 CPU cores. The laptop also comes with 16GB of RAM. This should allow users to run apps, browse the web, watch videos, and work on several tasks at the same time.
The device was also tested on Geekbench 7. It scored 2,513 points in the single-core test and 15,214 points in the multi-core test. These scores show that the laptop could have strong performance, although benchmark scores do not always show how a device will perform in everyday use.
Google reportedly launched its first Googlebooks last month without Samsung. Now, Samsung appears to be preparing its own device for this new Android laptop category.
However, Samsung has not officially announced the laptop yet. We still do not know its price, design, screen size, battery life, or launch date. For now, the Geekbench listing gives us an early look at what could be Samsung’s first Android laptop
