Galaxy S26 Ultra camera leaks are missing the wow factor
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra zoom camera hardware could be disappointing. Rumors, so far, suggested that the company’s next big flagship won’t lead the smartphone camera segment, but it’s literally hard to believe.
Galaxy S26 Ultra could recycle most of its camera hardware from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, despite a new zoom camera. The company might adopt a new 12MP telephoto but only utilize its 10MP resolution with 3x zoom.
The sensor is said to feature 10-megapixel resolution, F/2.4 aperture, and 1/3.94″ size. It remains a mystery whether the telephoto camera will be a new 12-megapixel solution or retained from this year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra.
While leaks point to a stalled zoom camera, it’s also possible that Samsung might have managed to avoid tech leaks. As the S26 Ultra can’t stay behind in zoom camera at the time Apple and Chinese OEMs intensified competition.
Apple improved the zoom camera on the iPhone 17 Pro, boasting a triple 48MP setup. In the meantime, Chinese phone makers are adopting 200MP sensors for telephoto cameras with a bigger sensor size than Samsung.
We don’t expect a sensor shift in the main, ultrawide, and periscope cameras. The company usually utilizes a Galaxy camera for at least four years. That said, the main camera upgrade better aligns with the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
The South Korean tech giant should keep its edge in smartphone camera. The Galaxy S26 Ultra should bring an upgraded telephoto. If the flagship misses the mark, it will lag behind its competitors in zoom camera battle.
There’s no doubt, Samsung’s best at software tricks and optimization. However, the requirement of hardware can’t be entirely fulfilled with virtual tricks. As the tentative launch is still 4 months away, we could hear some good news on the camera.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could have a secret charging advantage!
Samsung is preparing a new Galaxy S series, Galaxy S27, to launch early next year, around January or February. Now, it seems like the company may give the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra a bigger battery without increasing its charging speed.
Recent rumors reveal that the Galaxy S27 Ultra could support the same 60W charging as the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The interesting part is that the S27 Ultra may still charge slightly faster than its predecessor. Reports claim that the phone could reach 100% charge about 2% to 3% faster than the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is also rumored to have a 5,700mAh battery. This would be bigger than the 5,000mAh battery found in recent Galaxy Ultra models. Usually, a bigger battery takes more time to charge. So, how could the S27 Ultra charge faster with the same 60W limit?
The answer may be better battery optimization. Samsung could improve the way the phone manages power while charging. Better control of heat and power could allow the phone to use its 60W charging more efficiently.
However, these details are not official yet. The reported charging results are said to come from internal tests, but Samsung has not confirmed them. It is also not clear if older phones could get similar improvements through a software update. The changes may depend on the new hardware inside the S27 Ultra.
Aside from this, the Galaxy S27 Ultra may come in five amazing color options, including Black, Blue, Light Pink, White, and Violet. Also, it could have an upgraded camera module along with new AI features and more. Stay tuned for more information.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro could challenge Snapdragon with Exynos
Samsung may use its own Exynos chip in the upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro. New reports say the phone will use the Exynos 2700 processor in most countries. This includes Europe and South Korea.
Samsung has reportedly started making the Exynos 2700 in large numbers. The chip is made using Samsung’s new 2nm technology. Samsung is also planning to make more chips than it did for the older Exynos 2600. Production could increase by more than 10%.
The extra chips are expected to be used in the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro. However, customers in the US and China may get a different version of the phone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip.

This is a big change for Samsung. Earlier reports suggested that the company might use Snapdragon chips in more Galaxy S27 models. Now, Samsung appears more confident about using its own Exynos processor in its flagship phones.
The Exynos 2700 is expected to be faster and more power-efficient than Samsung’s older chip technology. Reports say it could offer around 12% better performance and use 25% less power. Its size could also be about 8% smaller.
Some early Geekbench 6 tests shows Exynos 2700 could faster than some Snapdragon chips in multi-core performance. However, Snapdragon may still be faster in single-core tests.
Samsung is still deciding which chip to use in the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Some teams want to use Exynos, while others are testing Snapdragon. Samsung is reportedly checking heat levels, gaming performance, and chip production before making the final decision.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra coming in these five incredible colors
Samsung may reportedly have something special planned for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The upcoming flagship is already in the news because of several leaks and rumors about its features and design. Now, a new leak reveals an interesting detail about its five color options.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra could come in a special Violet color. This color is expected to be different from the regular color options and could be available exclusively through Samsung’s online store.
This means buyers may not find the Violet version at regular offline stores. Samsung could use this online-exclusive color to offer customers a more unique option. The Violet finish could also make the Galaxy S27 Ultra stand out from other flagship phones.
Apart from the special Violet option, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is also rumored to come in four base colors: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White.
With the special Violet option, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could have five color choices in total. However, it is still unclear whether the Violet color will be available in every market or only in selected regions through Samsung’s online store. The company might also add more exclusive color options.
Samsung has not officially confirmed these color options yet. So, this information should be treated as a leak for now. More details about the Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to appear before its official launch next year. Stay tuned.

Apple iPhone Duo supply crunch could help Samsung
iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable phone, could face a problem at launch that Samsung knows all too well: demand may far outstrip supply.
According to ETNews, Apple’s supply chain is reportedly struggling to reach its planned production volume for the iPhone Duo, with manufacturing output said to be significantly below expectations.
The situation is tied to the complexity of producing Apple’s first foldable, which introduces new components such as a foldable display and hinge while still requiring Apple’s usual quality standards.
The production bottleneck could be particularly important because the iPhone Duo is expected to generate substantial demand from both existing iPhone owners and consumers who have been waiting for Apple to enter the foldable market.
Pre-orders reportedly starting October 16, and sales beginning October 23. However, limited global production could mean smaller country allocations, early sell-outs and longer delivery times for certain colors and storage variants.
Apple iPhone Duo supply crunch could help Samsung
Samsung has spent years building its foldable business and supply chain, while Apple is effectively starting from scratch with the iPhone Duo.
If Apple cannot quickly improve production yields, consumers who want a foldable iPhone but cannot get one immediately may have more reason to consider Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip models instead.
That does not mean every delayed iPhone Duo buyer will switch to Galaxy. Apple’s ecosystem remains a powerful retention tool. Still, if shortages extend through the crucial holiday period, Samsung could benefit from the timing.
ET News reports that some supply-chain expectations point toward production stabilizing early next year. If that happens, the initial shortage could remain a temporary launch issue. If not, Apple’s first foldable could become a case where demand is not the problem, but manufacturing capacity is.
