Samsung collaborates with Artists Rights Society to bring famous art to homes
Samsung has started a new partnership with Artists Rights Society (ARS) to bring famous artworks to its TVs. ARS is an organization that protects the rights of artists and their artwork. It represents more than 120,000 artists, photographers, painters, sculptors and artists’ estates.
The partnership begins with a special collection of artwork by LeRoy Neiman, a famous American artist. Neiman was known for his colorful paintings of sports, celebrities and entertainment. His paintings showed the excitement of boxing, the Olympic Games, jazz clubs, casinos and other major events.
The new collection includes 33 artworks by LeRoy Neiman. These artworks are now available on the Samsung Art Store for selected Samsung TVs, including The Frame and The Frame Pro. This is the first time Neiman’s artwork has been available on the Samsung Art Store.

The partnership will also help Samsung bring artwork from more famous artists to its TVs in the future. ARS represents artists and estates connected to famous names such as Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Henri Matisse, Georgia O’Keeffe and Mark Rothko.
Samsung Art Store already has more than 5,000 artworks from museums, galleries, photographers and artists. In 2026, Samsung also made the Art Store available on more TV models.
With this partnership, Samsung wants to turn its TVs into digital art displays. Users can enjoy famous paintings at home, while artists and their estates can receive recognition and payment for their work. More collections are expected to be added in the coming months.

Samsung brings Korea’s cultural treasures to Europe in landmark British Museum Exhibition
The famous art collection of late Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-Hee has come to Europe. A special exhibition, “Korea,” has opened at the British Museum in London.
Samsung Electronics and the British Museum held a special event on September 30, 2026, to celebrate the opening. The exhibition opened to the public on October 1 and will remain open until January 31, 2027.
The exhibition has 100 important works of Korean art. These works show more than 2,000 years of Korean history and culture. The exhibition includes 10 National Treasures and 13 Treasures of Korea. More than 20 artworks are being shown outside Korea for the first time.
Some of the important works include Bronze Artifacts from Bisan-dong, Daegu, Bronze Rattles, and a Celadon Incense Burner with Girin-shaped Lid. Works by famous Korean artists such as Nam June Paik, Lee Jungseop and Park Rehyun are also part of the exhibition.
The Lee Kun-Hee Collection has more than 23,000 artworks. In 2021, the Lee family donated the collection to South Korea. It is now an important part of Korea’s cultural heritage.
At the opening event, Samsung Executive Chairman Jay Y. Lee said his family has worked for generations to protect and share Korean culture with people around the world.
The exhibition is part of an international tour. It was earlier shown in Washington, DC, and Chicago, attracting about 80,000 and 115,000 visitors respectively. This exhibition is the British Museum’s first major special presentation of Korean art in more than 40 years.

Samsung Galaxy Buds On goes official with TwinBoost Speaker, Audio Leakage Reduction
Samsung just launched the Galaxy Buds On, its first clip-on earbuds. The new design approach is centered on targeting those who prefer comfort and safety during outdoor activities.
The Galaxy Buds On uses a clip-style construction that rests around the ear. Since it does not plug into the ear canal, users can continue hearing ambient sounds while walking, cycling or running.
Samsung says it studied different ear shapes and used simulations to determine the placement of the speakers and battery. The company also adjusted the clip’s elasticity and contact area to distribute pressure more evenly.
The earbuds can be controlled through a touch area positioned at the rear, allowing users to manage music and calls without reaching for their smartphone.
Galaxy Buds On bring TwinBoost Speaker, Audio Leakage Reduction
Open-ear designs typically face challenges with bass response and sound leakage. Samsung addresses these issues with its TwinBoost Speaker technology and automatic volume adjustment based on the surrounding environment.
The Galaxy Buds On also introduces Audio Leakage Reduction, designed to limit sound escaping from the earbuds in places such as cafes and libraries.
Samsung is also extending the Galaxy ecosystem to the new earbuds. When paired with a compatible Galaxy AI device, users can access hands-free functions including Gemini Live, voice memos and notifications.
A particularly interesting addition is Head Gestures, which can recognize movements to answer or end calls, dismiss alarms and interact with notifications when touching the phone is inconvenient.
For calls, the Galaxy Buds On combines three microphones, a bone-conduction-based Voice Pickup Unit sensor and machine-learning processing to isolate the user’s voice from background noise.
The earbuds offer up to 9.5 hours of continuous music playback, while Samsung has paired a Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform with a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier to improve power efficiency.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Buds On first in South Korea on October 27, priced at 299,000 won (~ $220), in Black color. A wider global release will follow, although Samsung has not yet provided complete global pricing.

Galaxy S27 Ultra’s 20 camera style changes leak along with software boom
Samsung appears to be preparing a much more noticeable camera experience for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and the changes may go beyond new sensors or a redesigned camera island.
Fresh information from tipster Ice Universe points to a broad shift in the way the Galaxy S27 Ultra processes and presents photos, while Samsung is also reportedly giving the flagships an unusually long software development window.
The combination could make the Galaxy S27 Ultra feel considerably different from the Galaxy S26 Ultra, even if some of its underlying camera hardware remains familiar.
Galaxy S27 Ultra could change its camera personality
According to Ice Universe, Samsung is working on a substantially different photographic style for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The leaked comparison covers everything from white balance and colors to HDR, shadows, contrast, texture and highlight handling.
The biggest change appears to be the overall image character. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is described as producing brighter, cooler and relatively flatter images, while the S27 Ultra is expected to move toward warmer colors, stronger contrast and greater depth.
Samsung may also reduce the aggressive brightening associated with HDR processing. Ice Universe’s comparison suggests several of these changes are substantial rather than minor tuning adjustments.
However, these details are still based on early information, so the final camera processing could change before launch.
Samsung is reportedly giving S27 software more time
The camera changes come alongside an interesting development in Samsung’s software schedule. Galaxy S27 firmware testing had already surfaced earlier this year, with reports pointing to One UI 9.5 development on the upcoming flagship.
The latest information suggests Samsung wants to start the S27 software work considerably earlier than previous generations.
This would give its engineers more time to optimize performance, battery efficiency, camera algorithms, and system stability before the phones reach consumers.
If these developments hold, Samsung’s next Ultra flagship may be defined less by a dramatic camera specification sheet and more by how the final images look.
