Google Wallet

Google is making changes to improve its digital payment services in Europe. It is updating Google Wallet and Google Pay to make them easier, faster, and safer for users. These updates will help people shop online and verify their identity more smoothly.

The expansion of Digital ID in Google Wallet is a major update. It helps you prove your age or identity without revealing too much personal information. This feature is now expanding to some European Union countries after earlier launches in India, Taiwan, and the UK.

Google is working with Sparkasse Bank to make this system more secure. The bank will help users verify their identity through its safe banking system. This means users can confirm who they are without sharing sensitive information. It makes the process more private and secure.

Also, Google is improving the Google Pay checkout experience for online shopping. The new design is simpler and cleaner, so users can see payment and address details more clearly.

There’s also a change in payment and speed. Google is upgrading its system, so users may not need to enter one-time passwords (OTPs) every time. The system still stays safe while improving convenience for users.

These updates aim to make digital payments and identity checks easier for people in Europe. Users will get a faster checkout experience and more secure identity verification.

Samsung Notes adds three useful features this June

Published

on

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra SG26U S Pen

Samsung is bringing three new features to its native Notes app this June. The latest additions are rolling out as part of a new app update through Galaxy Store. You can access them after installing the most recent build on your device.

The June 2026 update for the Samsung Notes app (via NirmalSri) introduces three new features: a smarter way to paste text, a new option for organizing notes by date, and support for importing PDF files directly into the app.

One of the most practical additions is Match style when pasting option. Instead of preserving the original formatting from the source, Samsung Notes can now make pasted content adopt the style already being used inside the note.

The app now includes a Group by date option that organizes notes into date-based sections. Grouping notes by date adds another layer of organization and makes it easier to jump back to content created during a specific period.

  • How to use Group by date
    1. Open Samsung Notes.
    2. Tap the three-dot “More options” button in the top-right corner.
    3. Select “Sort by.”
    4. Turn “Group by date” on or off.

Once enabled, notes will be displayed in date-based groups.

The third addition is a dedicated Import PDF option. Users can now bring PDF documents directly into Samsung Notes without relying on extra steps or third-party apps.

After importing a PDF, users can continue using Samsung Notes’ existing tools to annotate, highlight, write comments, and organize documents alongside regular notes.

Samsung Health 2026

Samsung Health app is getting a big update next week, adopting 4 big new AI Health features from the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9.

On June 4, Samsung officially revealed the major Health app update, which will integrate 4 new AI features from the next-generation Galaxy Watch 9 ahead of release. The “key health features” unveil new ways for health tracking.

Samsung says its upcoming Samsung Health app update will make daily health management effortless by translating complex biometric data from overnight sleep to daily activity into simple, actionable guidance.

Note that the Samsung Health update will begin rolling out on June 8 to add new features from the Galaxy Watch 9. However, the features will just be added as a preview, not actually be functional until the next-gen Watch launches.

Four new Samsung Health AI features are coming

The Samsung Health update comes with four intelligent features, including Vitals, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, and Fitness Index.

Samsung Health has adopted a streamlined layout organised into five core pillars: Sleep, Activity, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Vitals. It will ensure users can easily access their daily wellness tips alongside the AI-powered Energy Score.

Vitals: A better understanding of the body’s signals

Samsung Health’s Vitals feature will analyse five key overnight bio-signals, including heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen, against their true resting baseline when they wake up.

Users will be notified when the app detects meaningful deviations, helping them determine if they need more rest or are fighting an illness.

Heart Health Score: Improved long-term wellness

Heart Health Score is a single daily metric, built on the Vascular Load feature. It takes insights such as sleep, stress, and activity and combines them with body composition data.

Once done, the result offers a unified score that clearly identifies the habits impacting users’ long-term well-being, giving them immediate clarity on their heart health.

Daily Cardio Load: Smarter cardiovascular training

Samsung’s Daily Cardio Load feature measures accumulated cardiovascular strain. The feature is designed to recommend optimal training targets and rest times based on the calculation of daily load and maximum training capacity.

Fitness Index: Seamless progress tracking

Samsung has also developed a Fitness Index feature, an overall health data report. This ensures exercise routines are working by analysing metrics such as heart rate, VO2 max, and daily steps relative to users’ peers.

Fitness Index offers tailored content and personalised goals after identifying individual physical strengths and weaknesses, helping users make continuous, targeted improvements.

Google Messages working on animated chat backgrounds

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra One UI 7 Home Screen App Icons

Google Messages is prepping a new feature that will let users customize their chat backgrounds with wallpapers. Users will be able to choose different wallpapers for their conversations.

Users of Google Messages can pick from wallpapers provided by Google or use their own photos from their phone to make chats look more personal and fun. This feature is not available to everyone yet, but recent testing shows that it is almost ready to launch.

Notably, Google Messages will not only support regular images but also animated GIFs. This means users can set moving wallpapers in their chats. Tests (via Android Authority) show that these GIF wallpapers work smoothly and can make conversations feel more lively and unique.

Some animated GIFs may be too bright or distracting, so users will need to choose carefully. Still, the feature gives people more ways to express their personality while chatting with friends and family.

Google is also improving how these wallpapers work in dark mode. Earlier tests showed that dark wallpapers could make some text and icons hard to see in light mode. However, dark mode seems to solve this problem by making important chat information easier to read, even when a dark wallpaper is being used.

At the moment, there are no reports of the feature being available to Google Messages beta testers. However, based on how well it already works, Google could release it very soon.
