Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphones are going to launch at Galaxy Unpacked 2025, which will take place on 22 January 2025, in San Jose, USA. In addition to the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung will launch and tease several new products at Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

Galaxy S25 Series
Samsung will launch its 2025 Galaxy S series, Galaxy S25, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. This series includes three models – Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Notably, it is expected to add a fourth model to the series named Galaxy S25 Slim.
These models of the Galaxy S25 series will feature a thinner and sleeker design, improved camera, powerful processor, faster charging, and more.

One UI 7
At SDC 2024, Samsung announced the release of stable One UI 7 software with the Galaxy S25 series. This stable version will offer several new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience.
Samsung has a history of revealing new x.1 iteration with Galaxy S lineups every year. Things may not be the same this year as all clues align with the rumors that the One UI 7.1 may not be installed on the S25 series at launch.
S25 Slim Teaser
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 official teaser hints at a fourth variant of the Galaxy S25 series. While Samsung hasn’t confirmed details, the teaser image shows four devices, indicating that it could be the Galaxy S25 Slim.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be the thinnest model in the series, possibly to be teased at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Leaks suggest it could feature the Snapdragon 9 Elite Processor, be just 6.6mm thin, and have an ALoP camera.

Next-gen Bixby
Samsung is ready to showcase an upgraded version of its virtual assistant, Bixby, powered by generative AI. This enhanced version is already available in China and the company will announce it for Global users.
The advanced Bixby is expected to perform similarly to ChatGPT and Google Gemini. It will be integrated into Samsung’s software for next-level AI experience.
XR – Headset, Smart Glasses
Samsung is rumored to unveil Galaxy XR (extended reality) smart glasses at Unpacked 2025. The name of the Samsung XR headset could be Samsung Switch or Galaxy Switch.
The company is developing the Galaxy XR headset under the project name Moohan. Samsung has collaborated with Google and Qualcomm for the development of this headset.

Galaxy Ring 2
At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung is expected to unveil the upgraded version of the Galaxy Ring, the Galaxy Ring 2. This updated version is rumored to come in new, larger sizes and offer enhanced sensors and AI features.
