11 Galaxy S24 camera features not coming to older Samsung phones with One UI 6.1

Samsung Galaxy S24 series comes with plenty of new camera features. While Galaxy AI and One UI 6.1 power the new phones, Samsung is unlikely to share at least 11 new camera features with older models available in the Galaxy S24 smartphones.

According to the info, Samsung will release One UI 6.1 update to older Galaxy devices within the first half of the year. Meanwhile, a new input talks about around 11 camera-related functions and tools that will remain limited to the company’s new flagship lineup.

    1. Noise removal from videos shot in low-light conditions
    2. EIS for video stabilization
    3. Advanced scene recognition

2. Colorize monochrome (black and white) images.

3. Generative AI editing.

4. Super HDR live preview in the camera app.

5. Nightography for zoomed-in photos and videos.

6. Enhanced portrait videos using two camera sensors at once.

7. Spatial Video Zoom and Temporal Zoom for videos.

8. Fast capturing of images with near-zero shutter lag.

9. Professional shooting features:

    1. Anamorphic Lens Compensation
    2. Audio Monitoring
    3. DOF Adapter Calibration

10. AI-based slow-motion for normal videos.

11. Changing the playback speed of videos at different locations.

Earlier, it has been confirmed that Galaxy S24’s Galaxy AI features will be rolled out to Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. It doesn’t mean that the Galaxy S22 and S21 series are excluded, however, they just don’t get mentioned.
