T-Mobile ships January 2024 update to Samsung Galaxy S23 in the US

Samsung has recently released the latest security update to the Galaxy S23 series in the US. So far, US Cellular and Verizon started the January 2024 update for Galaxy S23 series in the US, with T-Mobile becoming the latest entry.

T-Mobile starts shipping January 2024 One UI update (BWL7) to Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra in the US. The latest update aims to improve system security and stability to offer an enhanced user experience.

It’s great to see that carriers are not delaying Samsung’s software updates for network-branded handsets in the country. It’s worth noting that Samsung confirmed fixes for 74 vulnerabilities with its January patch.

To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get Software update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung reportedly working to offer 7 Android / One UI upgrades support to the Galaxy S24 series. While the official announcement is yet to be made, I feel quite confident that the support may be offered to our Galaxy S23 units as well!
