Samsung’s Android 14-based One UI 6 Beta 1 has been distributed to Galaxy S23 smartphone users in Germany, South Korea and the US. As the One UI 6.0 has just entered the Beta testing phase, it’s necessary to keep in mind that Google Pay/Wallet and other secure services may not work.

Since Samsung’s One UI 6 software has not reached the Stability milestone, it is yet to be certified by Google. Notably, the base Android operating system version of the One UI 6 is not yet entered the Official/Stability milestone.

This means if you have signed up for the One UI 6 Beta and install the OTA, secure payment services like Google Pay and Google Wallet may not work. During the beta program, the software is not yet certified by Google, and therefore Google Pay and other secure services may not work.

As soon as the new software gets certified by Google, Samsung will make an announcement.
