Samsung One UI 7.0 (Android 15)
Samsung Developer Conference 2024 is set to kick off on October 3. The company will likely unveil the One UI 7.0 on the first day of the conference. We anticipate the Public rollout will kick off in the same month as the SDC24 taking place.
The Beta testing activity will commence before the Stable rollout. The company, this year, is not in a hurry to kick off the Beta Program. Developers are working on refinements to offer a Stable-like firmware in the Beta activity.
Eligible Devices
Flagship phones including the Galaxy S21 series and later are eligible for the One UI 7 upgrade. Besides, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 (and later foldables) will also receive a major firmware upgrade later this year.
Samsung’s list of One UI 7 update isn’t out yet. However, our team has compiled a nearly final list that contains all the Galaxy phones, foldables, and tablets getting upgraded to the latest Android 15 operating system.
Release Date
Samsung flagships could start getting One UI 7 in late October. The initial rollout will kick off for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6. Several Galaxy flagships will receive the Stable One UI 7 upgrade in November such as:
- Galaxy S23 series (FE too)
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S21 series (FE too)
- Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3
This isn’t a final roadmap that the Galaxy maker will follow in the update rollout. The update plan is based on previous records and rollout tactics. We wish Samsung could open One UI 7 for all devices within this year for all eligible devices.
