Samsung Galaxy S21 major April 2023 update live in India

Samsung Galaxy S21 series already received the April 2023 patch in several countries including Brazil, Korea, the US, Europe, and Southeast Asian countries. Now, Samsung has started expanding the April 2023 security update for Galaxy S21 smartphones in India.

April 2023 security update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones comes with One UI build versions G991BXX7EWCH, G996BXX7EWCH, and G998BXX7EWCH respectively.

For your info, Samsung’s April 2023 software update comes with fixes for 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of common vulnerability exposures. Notably, the release also includes a fix for Exynos modem vulnerability, which is not applicable to the US units.

Along with this, the update also improves the camera and gallery functions of the Galaxy S21 series. The latest firmware adds an Image Clipper feature that allows users to extract an object or thing from a photo to share it as a separate object of the image by saving it.
