Samsung Galaxy S23 price could jump by $100

Samsung Galaxy S23 series price could increase by $100 over the Galaxy S22 series. Per a recent report, the Galaxy S23 128GB and 256GB models will cost AUS $1,350 and AUS $1,450, each. In addition, the price of the Galaxy S23 Plus and S23 Ultra starts at $1,650 and $1,950, respectively.
Compared to the Galaxy S22 series launch price in Australia ($1,249, $1,549, and $1,849), the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra appear to be $100 costlier. Through the Australian pricing, the US price of the Galaxy S23 series devices could be as follows:
- Galaxy S23: $940
- S23 Plus: $1,149
- S23 Ultra: $1,358
9to5Google report pointed out that this kind of direct price conversation doesn’t show notable changes, whereas the Galaxy S23 models could see a $200 price jump in certain countries. The Australian model lacks mmWave 5G, which is mandatory in the US, hence, the price is most likely to raise.
It’s worth mentioning that the company has doubled the base storage of select Galaxy S23 smartphones, which makes sense against this price increment. Meanwhile, you have the opportunity to claim a $50 Samsung Credit for free to take benefit on purchase of cases, accessories and chargers.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra brings a 200MP primary camera, whereas all models are equipped with overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset manufactured on 4nm process technology. There are plenty of stuff to look for such as hardware upgrades, new software and more.
