According to Samsung support, Galaxy A73 2nd January 2023 firmware update also brings the latest security patch that was installed on the device last week. The firmware carries PDA build version A736BXXS2BWA3, while the last OTA carries A736BXXS2BVL3.
Back in November 2022, the South Korean tech giant released the major Android 13 upgrade for the Galaxy A73 smartphone. The One UI 5.0 software brought a number of new features and functional improvements for better user experiences.
Notably, Samsung has started testing the new One UI 5.1 version on a handful of Galaxy devices including the Galaxy A53 5G. Post-Galaxy S23 reveal, the company may start rolling out this new One UI version to select Galaxy phones and tablets with new features.
The company has officially confirmed the existence and rollout availability of the new One UI 5.1 firmware. However, an exact release date or timeline still remains a mystery as Samsung is currently focussing on preparation for the Galaxy S23 series unveiling.
