Samsung could introduce the Galaxy S23 flagship lineup sometime in February next year. Ahead of the launch, the specs of the standard Galaxy S23 variant have been leaked, which suggests minor upgrades over its predecessor.

According to tipster, the Galaxy S23 smartphone could bring a 6.1-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is likely to go official on November 14.

On the rear side, the Galaxy S23 camera specs may include 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, 12MP ultrawide angle snapper and a 10MP telephoto camera. On the front side, the device is rumored to feature a 10MP camera for selfies.

Samsung could sell the Galaxy S23 device in two memory variants including 128GB and 256GB with 8GB of RAM. And in the software department, the phone will ship with the latest Android 13-based One UI 5 software system, possibly the improved One UI 5.1.

Last but not least, the leak suggests that the Galaxy S23 handset could be equipped with a 3900mAh battery, with support for 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The tipster didn’t mention anything about the color variants and possible launch timeline of the upcoming S23 series.

A couple of days back, well-known tipster Onleaks revealed the design of the upcoming S23 series smartphone through high-resolution CAD renders. The rendering images revealed that all of the upcoming S23 lineup phones will feature the same rear camera design, inspired by the S22 Ultra.
