Last week, Samsung started to roll out the fourth One UI 5.0 beta for Galaxy S22 devices, which was expected to be the last beta build before the stable Android 13 release for Galaxies. But a new report says that Samsung One UI 5.0 even has Beta 5.

Recently, a famed tipster Ice Universe informed that the fourth beta is not the end of the One UI 5.0 Beta phase. He further suggets that One UI 5.0 Beta 5 is coming next week, which means the expected stable October 12 release date is wrong.

Samsung is holding the SDC22 conference on October 12, where it will unveil the stable One UI 5.0 Update. It was expected that the company will begin the update rollout publically on the same day, unfortunately, that’s not true. We’ll have to wait for the fifth beta and then the stable version.

It looks like Samsung still found some issues with One UI 5.0 that it wants to fix with the fifth beta. Or maybe, it wants to add some new functionalities that are not completely developed so far.

It’s high time, Samsung should start Stable Android 13 rollout:

After Google released the stable Android 13 release for Pixel devices, OEMs like OnePlus and Oppo also started pushing updates to their devices publically. Meanwhile, there’s Samsung, who is still testing the upgrade through One UI 5.0 Beta.

The company started the first One UI 5.0 Beta rollout on August 5. It’s been over two months since the beta testing started, and users are now waiting to have their hands on the stable version as the beta builds are not so perfect.

We hope that the company will release the fifth One UI 5.0 soon so that we won’t have to wait for too long to install the stable version on our Galaxy smartphones.
