Another October 2022 update rolling out for One UI AOD (Always On Display) for Samsung devices [Download]
In early October, Samsung released an update for Always On Display with v7 for Galaxy devices running Android 12 or below. Now, the company has started rolling out a new October 2022 update for Samsung Always On Display or AOD with version 8.0.54.

The latest update for Samsung Always On Display includes some general fixes and improvements. As per the release notes, no new features have been added but you will definitely get a smoother experience after updating to the latest version.
The second October 2022 update for the Samsung AOD app is compatible with Galaxy devices running One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 and below. It means that the Galaxy devices that are testing One UI 5.0 beta will get this update.

Aside from this, the Korean tech giant is also releasing a new update with version 7.1.97.4 to Galaxy devices running Android 12 or below.
If you don’t know how to install the latest update then open the Galaxy Store, tap on the menu icon, and click on the Updates option. Tap on the refresh icon and it is done.
WhatsApp Beta rolls out new in-app call dialer for simplified look
WhatsApp is continuously enhancing its user experience by adding new features and enhancements. Now, a fresh WhatsApp beta update introduces a new in-app call dialer that is currently available to some beta testers. This beta update arrives with version 2.24.26.11 on the Google Play Beta Program.
The fresh update moves the call dialer from the floating action button within the calls tab to a more accessible location in the menu. Users can now find the “Call a number” option in the menu, which allows them to dial phone numbers directly without having to save them in their address book.
The new call dialer of WhatsApp not only simplifies the process but also cleans up the calls tab, making it less cluttered. Previously, WhatsApp introduced a floating action button for the call dialer.
The new update improves the interface by integrating the call dialer into the menu for a cleaner and more organized experience.

Samsung Reminder app has just been received bringing it to version 12.6.00.34. This update adds some useful new features and ensures that are available for users with One UI 7 update.
The fresh update adds the ability to select multiple dates when setting up recurring reminders. You can now choose to have reminders repeated every month or year, which makes it easier to manage tasks that happen regularly.
In addition, the update also introduces a new feature that allows completed reminders to be automatically deleted. This helps keep your reminders list clean and organized.
The Quick Add menu has also been improved. You can now use preset buttons to quickly set the time and place for your reminders. Also, you can now create duplicate completed or deleted reminders. If you need to repeat a task, you can simply copy an old reminder instead of creating a new one from scratch.

Samsung Calendar update brings drag to move feature, countdown widget, and more
Samsung has rolled out a new update for its Calendar app with version 12.6.00.40, which brings several new features to enhance user experience and provide more customization options. This update is available on the Galaxy Store with a package size of around 52MB.
The fresh update introduces new tools that make managing your schedule more intuitive and personalized. The update adds a Drag to Move feature, which allows users to drag and drop an event to a different date on the calendar. This makes it much faster to reschedule events without having to open them and change the date manually.
In addition, the update allows you to customize the Calendar widget. With this update, you can choose to show events only from a specific calendar on the widget. This way, you can keep your home screen clean and focused on just the events you need to see.
Samsung has added a Countdown widget to the event details screen. This new tool helps you see how many days are left until an important event, like a meeting or a birthday.
The update also lets you move events to other calendars in bulk. If you use multiple calendars, this feature makes it easy to transfer several events at once without needing to move them one by one.
