With the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung introduced a whole new camera design, featuring all sensors and lenses individually, without any island. Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is now rumored to feature the same camera design as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
According to IceUniverse, a well-known Samsung tipster, the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra will “maintain the exact same camera design as the Galaxy S22 Ultra.” As the source is 100% sure, we can expect that Samsung will adjust the rumored 200MP HP2 sensor in the same camera design.
Samsung’s latest Galaxy S22 Ultra flagship features a quad rear camera setup, with a separate lens design, which looks clean and unique. The camera design includes two columns and the first column embeds three lenses (12MP ultra-wide, 108MP wide, and 10MP telephoto with 10x optical zoom), respectively.
The second column, on the other hand, equips the Time of Flight (ToF) sensor followed by, an LED flash and second Telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom support. As the camera design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra appears to remain the same, it will be interesting to see how Samsung installs the 200MP sensor.
