The size of the firmware suggests that it don’t bring any new feature or major changes to the device. According to the Samsung software support document, the company addresses over a dozen vulnerabilities found in Android OS and 31 exposures that affect Samsung apps and software. These are bonded to Samsung DeX, MAC address leak via Wi-Fi and NFC, improper access control in DesktopSystemUI, and more.

August patch is last monthly update for Fold 3:
Samsung is going to introduce the new version of its custom OS – One UI 4.1.1 which is based on Android 12L next week. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to get the new version update in late August or early September, therefore, the August 2022 patch is the last monthly update for this device before One UI 4.1.1.
