These Samsung devices support RAM Plus feature, find yours
RAM is one of the most important elements of a smartphone and the makers are now extending it through software updates. After some Chinese OEMs, Samsung is here with its futuristic memory extension feature called RAM Plus (check the compatible device list below).
Last year, the South Korean tech giant debuted the virtual RAM extension function that comes with up to 4GB of additional space to the smartphone. To be noted, the Galaxy A52s received the Samsung RAM Plus feature along with a new firmware update, which makes RAM expansion possible.

Shortly after the initial debut with Galaxy A52s, Samsung expanded the RAM Plus feature’s availability to more Galaxy consumers. Moreover, the company is now letting users customize the virtual RAM up to 8GB after upgrading to the One UI 4.1.

OPPO’s Memory Expansion Technology
Works as an auxiliary function, OPPO’s Memory Expansion Technology lets users temporarily convert part of their smartphone’s available read-only memory (ROM) to virtual RAM. Moreover, consumers will be given the freedom to adjust the volume of expansion, with three adjustment levels.
Users can enjoy the enhanced performance for RAM-intensive games or photo and video editing mobile applications, and a smoother experience while running multiple mobile applications simultaneously thanks to virtual RAM Expansion.
One UI 5.0 Effective RAM Plus
