Samsung has dispatched the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for Galaxy A32 5G smartphone users in the United States. The updates come with lots of new features, optimizations, and customization options, however, with the old April 2022 security patch.

According to the changelog, the Galaxy A32 Android 12 One UI 4.1 update brings revamped color palette that lets users pick colors based on their wallpaper that will be applied on the Quick settings panel, Home Screen, Samsung and Google apps, and others.

In addition to this, the latest update also brings Grammarly for the Samsung keyboard so you won’t make any silly typing mistakes, enhanced Quick Share to easily edit and share your pictures, and Google Duo Live Sharing to let you share your screen with others on Video calls.

Google has not yet released the latest security update for Pixel phones. Meanwhile, US carrier Verizon has already revealed the November 2024 security patch details for Google Pixel devices running Android 15.

Verizon support page (via 9to5Google) reveals that the Android 15 November 2024 security patch brings general improvements and stability to UI and animations. The page suggests that the rollout should have started on November 5, which didn’t.

Looks like Google addressed some major issues related to functional stability. Pixel 9 series users can expect even better and smoother animations. The November patch is said to bring stability in certain UI transitions and animations.

Apart from this, the carrier’s release notes contain details about the latest security patch coming to the Pixel 9 series. There are also details of what’s coming out for the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, and Pixel 8 series in the next few days.

Samsung has pushed the November 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones, which brings a new Auto Blocker feature. This fresh update is live for users in India and Europe.

November 2024 security update addresses 52 vulnerabilities across Android and Samsung’s software. Google has resolved 38 high-level issues, while one CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.

Additionally, Samsung’s patches include fixes for 13 vulnerabilities, mainly impacting user profiles, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and certain system features like Settings and Maintenance Mode. These updates are designed to enhance the security and performance of Galaxy devices.

Moreover, it adds a new option to the Auto Blocker feature to make it more advanced. Now, when the Auto Blocker is turned on with Maximum restrictions, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to the devices except for charging.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are getting a November 2024 security update in Europe and India with One UI builds F721BXXS9GXJA and F936BXXS9GXJA respectively. The company will expand this update to more countries soon.
