Samsung Galaxy S22 gets various camera improvements with June 2022 security update
In late May, the Samsung camera in charge announced that the company is working on various camera improvements for the Galaxy S22 series models and will release these improvements with the June 2022 security patch update.
As declared, Samsung has begun rolling out the June 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models that installs various new camera enhancements for enhancing the camera performance and improving its quality.

According to the camera in charge, the new update provides natural sharpness and improves contrast expression when taking pictures. It further improves the automatic white balance (AWB) performance so that whites appear more natural while capturing images of puppies.

Adding to this, the company has also improved portrait mode performance, as well as optimized memory for recording videos and the overall camera performance. Last but not least, the in-charge also mentions a fix for the bug that stopped capturing images after just one shot in the Single Take mode.

Samsung has pushed the November 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones, which brings a new Auto Blocker feature. This fresh update is live for users in India and Europe.
November 2024 security update addresses 52 vulnerabilities across Android and Samsung’s software. Google has resolved 38 high-level issues, while one CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.
Additionally, Samsung’s patches include fixes for 13 vulnerabilities, mainly impacting user profiles, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and certain system features like Settings and Maintenance Mode. These updates are designed to enhance the security and performance of Galaxy devices.
Moreover, it adds a new option to the Auto Blocker feature to make it more advanced. Now, when the Auto Blocker is turned on with Maximum restrictions, USB devices will not be allowed to connect to the devices except for charging.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are getting a November 2024 security update in Europe and India with One UI builds F721BXXS9GXJA and F936BXXS9GXJA respectively. The company will expand this update to more countries soon.
It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models. If you have received the update then install it now to enjoy enhanced features. The installation package size of this update is around 502.32MB.

The fresh update arrives with a new Auto Blocker feature. When you turn this on and set it to Maximum restrictions, your phone will only allow USB connections for charging. While this feature provides extra-strong security, it will limit some of your phone’s functions. For example, you won’t be able to transfer files between your phone and other devices using a USB cable.
