Samsung Android 13 to bring Per-app language settings with One UI 5.0

No matter how many languages your Samsung smartphone support, you can only set a single language for the overall system. If you are multilingual, you know the feeling of setting system language to one language when want to select other languages for specific apps.

Meanwhile, Google Android 13 has Per-app language settings that will allow you to select a different language preference for each of your apps in Settings. And this is one of those features we expect to come for Galaxy owners through the One UI 5.0 update.

Google has specially developed this feature for multilingual, who like to use different languages depending on the situation and change how they communicate from one instance to the next.

For instance, you might like to use a social media app in English while banking or any other app in a different language. The upcoming Android 13-based One UI 5.0 will let you experience this on your Galaxy phone.

According to the Android 13 beta, the new setting can be accessed in two ways – On an app by app basis in the App info pane or via a new App language section in Settings >> Language and input >> selecting an app from the list > selecting language.

However, it should be noted that all apps will not be compatible with Per-app language settings. Some apps may work best in English or another language, whereas, other apps may feel more native or prove to work better in a different language.
