Let me tell you NAND flash is non-volatile storage that does not require power to store data. Many popular blogs are currently talking that Samsung as the world’s largest chipmaker expanded its market share for the first quarter might be due to a large fall in the shipment of its competitor, Japanese chipmaker Kioxia.

On the other hand, SK Hynix and its U.S subsidiary Solidigm have combinedly rosed the market share to 18% but are still in the second spot just below Samsung. It is very surprising to see that after the joint efforts also the sales figures of both the companies have declined unknowingly. However, The Japanese company Kioxia has maintained the second spot as in the previous quarter.

The market and research analyst says that the global NAND flash supplies might be affected due to the drop in contract supply pricing, and the increasing cost of the raw material. The scarcity of the stock of manufacturing materials is the major challenge.
