Samsung Galaxy S20 May 2022 update with better system security and stability is rolling out in Poland. As the company declared earlier, the update comes with an enhanced Night Portrait mode that lets users capture bright portraits in low-light environments.

Additionally, this firmware upgrades 5 stock apps in order to improve the device’s performance in every aspect. These applications include Samsung Nites, SmartThings, Calculator, Smart Switch, and Voice recorder.

In the last couple of days, Samsung rolled out the May 2022 Android security patch update to a bunch of Galaxy device owners including Galaxy S21, Note 20, M33, Z Fold 3, and Z Flip 3. Meanwhile, the Samsung May 2022 security update is now rolling out to the Galaxy S20 5G series smartphones.

Identified via One UI build version G981BXXUEFVDB, G986BXXUEFVDB, and G988BXXUEFVDB for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20, the update is currently released in German markets. As usual, the company won’t take much time to release the update widely.

Further, the Samsung Galaxy S20 May 2022 update doesn’t bring any new features or noticeable changes. However, it comes with better system security and stability as well as reduced app crashing that further enhances the users’ experience.

Additionally, the released Samsung’s May patch detail mentions that it fixes multiple issues and exploits from Google and Samsung including 7 Critical, 23 High, and 3 Moderate levels of CVEs to boost the overall device functionality.
