Samsung Electronics on a No.1 position among 500 Korean companies
Samsung Electronics has maintained its No. 1 among 500 Korean companies in sales. The result has come while evaluating the 39 different kinds of business that are included in the list.
According to Korea Times, Samsung Electronics has remained the biggest profit-making company last year. Accumulating a total of 280 trillion won or we can say 221 billion US dollars.
Hyundai Motor has retained the second spot with 117.6 trillion won. The steel mammoth POSCO holding came in third place with an overall sales figure of 76.3 trillion won. LG Electronics has settled with the fourth position followed by SK Hynix and more in the league.

Samsung has retained the top spot not only in home-ground Korea but in the whole world. Recently some days before we have told you that Samsung Electronics is the world’s topmost profit-making company among the top 5 global companies.
The company has achieved this despite the smartphone and other products have seen a sharp decline in sales due to covid restrictions and availability of products for the specific region. The report is prepared by CEO Score, after analyzing and evaluating the financial statements of all the top 500 companies.
Samsung is doing lots of innovation and is presently in search of a global search engine that can derive him a long way. It could be new foldable smartphones, OLEDs, QLEDs, or an advanced semiconductor chip.
The Galaxy S24 series is a big hit in the Global market. Similarly, consumers in Japan are loving Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra. A new report says that the new flagships made a strong debut in the market, entering the Top 3 rank within a month.
NTTDocomo (via ETNews) announced Samsung Galaxy S24 ranked third in sales in Japan last month. Besides, the Galaxy S24 Ultra (512GB) ranked fifth, whereas the 256GB variant ranked tenth. Pay attention, the Galaxy S24 Plus wasn’t launched in the Japanese smartphone market.
Despite having the Japanese phone market seized by Apple and local vendors, Samsung’s achievement is significant. However, it remains to be seen whether the sizzling sales streak continues in the second quarter when full-scale sales are expected.
Apple’s iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 grabbed the first and second spots, respectively. Last year, Apple held the top spot in the Japanese smartphone market with a 51.9% market share, followed by Sharp at 10.9%, and Google at 10.7%. Samsung lagged behind at fourth place with a 6.3% market share.

A new patent discloses that Samsung is developing AI-accurate AFib (Atrial Fibrillation) monitoring, probably for the Galaxy Watch 7. The current state of the feature’s development doesn’t authenticate that the Galaxy Watch 7 will be equipped with it.
If the Galaxy Watch 7 misses out on this life-saving feature, Samsung will surely introduce it with future wearables. With the Generative AI integrated, this advanced smartwatch feature could translate photoplethysmograph (PPG) signals into ECG signals for accurate results.
Phonearena’s report highlights that AFib is a very dangerous condition, which causes irregular and rapid heartbeats. As disclosed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) earlier, AFib hospitalizes over 400,000 people in the US yearly.
Apart from this, the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to be equipped with non-invasive blood glucose monitoring. If the South Korean tech giant manages to gain approval for this feature, it will significantly boost the sales of Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 cover display design appears to be inspired by Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung insider posted a video of the alleged Galaxy Z Fold 6 screen glass, showcasing a squarish design with ditched rounded corners.
IceUniverse leaked out the cover screen design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 through tempered film. The third-party accessory indicates the S24 Ultra screen design could be seen in Samsung’s next foldable phone.
The tempered film lacks inner rounded corners seen in the previous foldables by Samsung. It means the display visibility area will be increased to reach the squarish form, introducing an enhanced design language.
Bezels surrounding the screen might also go thinner, thanks to generational enhancements. The screen ratio is also getting improved as part of offering a better user experience and making the cover screen even more user-centric.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 on July 10 in Paris. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will also join the launch at Unpacked in July. The company is also developing an Ultra Fold, which hasn’t appeared on benchmarks so far.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip. It’s rumored that the Exynos 2400 chip would be shipped with Galaxy Z Flip 6 in some regions outside the United States.
