Consumers can now head for the Galaxy Store to download and install the latest One UI Home app version, while you need to sideload it due to delayed arrival over gradual rollout. In case the Samsung One UI Home 13.1.01.37 has still not accessible officially, you can get it now through our dedicated App File directory. Once downloaded, you need to install it manually by permitting the system software to allow apps from third-party sources, however, we don’t recommend it.

Well, after updating your Samsung phone’s One UI Home app to version 13.1.01.37, your home screen will become even smoother as well as some general & unknown bugs will be fixed. It’s good to see that the company is regularly updating native apps too along with smartphones.

One UI 4.1

Debuted along with the Galaxy S22 series, the One UI 4.1 is a new addition to Samsung’s Android 12-based custom skin family. The new version brings a lot of new features to older Galaxy smartphones and tablets such as re-imagined Colour Palette UI, customizable RAM Plus and Smart Widgets (select models).

Smart Widget

Samsung’s latest flagship smartphones come with a very useful feature for the consumers, letting them keep the home screen neat and clean by using the all-new Smart Widget. While it’s a feature of the One UI 4.1 software, only select Galaxy models are getting it with software updates.

Samsung integrates My Files app into Galaxy phone’s Settings

Samsung My Files joins Settings

Samsung My Files is reportedly integrated into the Galaxy phone’s Settings. Since the change is spotted on a limited number of devices, the company might make it official with the April 2023 application update.

Two screenshots shared by Twitter user @choehau_alen show that the My Files app no longer remains a One UI app and Samsung integrated it into the Settings, between the Battery and device care and Apps tabs.

Samsung My Files joins Settings

You can either keep the My Files app in your Galaxy phone’s App Drawer or remove it. The user has also shared a link to My Files app version 14.1.03.16, which may have included the integration change for Galaxy devices.

Through this change, Samsung wants to make the My Files function way too easily accessible compared to current situation. The app is currently available through app drawer, and it’s now getting a dedicated space in Settings.

Since the company is making the change live on some Galaxy devices, users are not in favor of this change. If you want to access My Files as an app, you can continue using it through the App Drawer and Home screen.

Additionally, the One UI has integrated the My Files into Settings, making it an OS function. As Android is also preventing users access the root directory of storage, Samsung is putting additional efforts in the same direction.
