Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra cases revealed ahead of launch
Rumors have been spreading around the Samsung Galaxy S22 series for the past few weeks and this is likely to continue until the phone launches. The latest Galaxy S22-related leak is that the official cases of the smartphone from Samsung have been leaked before the launch.
According to the accessories retailer, MobileFun has published the complete list of official Galaxy S22 Ultra cases. Also, the retailer has shared some images of how they look like, the names in the listing, as well as the description, indicating that all three models have multiple colors as well as some styling and material options for accessories.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Official Cases
The official case list includes Clear Cover, Clear Standing Cover, Leather Cover, Protective Standing Case, Silicone Cover, Silicone Cover With Strap, Smart Clear View Case, and Smart LED View Cover.
Furthermore, the other covers are – Silicone Covers (with or without strap), Standing Covers, Clear Cases, Smart LED View Overs, Leather Covers, Frame Covers, and Smart Clear View Covers. Color options include black, lavender, navy, white, light grey, transparent, burgundy, yellow, sky blue, coral, dark green, olive green, and more
However, none of the above protection cases for the Galaxy S22 Ultra or any device for that matter mention the S Pen. This means that the phone does not require a special holster for the stylus pen.
The Galaxy S22 series is reported to launch in early February next year. With only a month and a half left, Samsung has plenty of time to design more formal tools, including protective cases for upcoming devices.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 could be launched sometime in August this year, however, it just spotted on Geekbench featuring Qualcomm’s upcoming yet the world’s most powerful mobile platform – Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus.
According to the information, an unreleased Samsung smartphone with model number SM-F721U was tested on the Geekbench platform. It is equipped with SoC named Taro which confirms existence of the upcoming 8 Gen 1 Plus.

Going further with the test results, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset as well as 8GB of RAM secured 1277 points in Geekbench’s single-core test, while 3642 in the multi-core test.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is an overclocked variant of the 8 Gen 1 chipset, which was launched later last year. The upcoming chip is said to be manufactured by TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process featuring higher clock speeds:
- 3.19GHz for Cortex-X2 CPU core
- 2.75GHz for C0rtex-A710 CPU cores
- 1.8GHz for Cortex-A510 CPU cores

According to Ross Young (CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants), Samsung Display is expected to begin the Galaxy Z Flip 4 panel shipments next month. To be noted, the company had started the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s panel shipments during the same time last year.
Samsung Display is expected to begin panel shipments for the Z Flip 4 next month, same timing as the Z Flip 3 last year. But panel shipments are expected to be much larger. Expecting 8.7M panels in 2022 for the Z Flip 4 vs. 5.1M for the Z Flip 3 in 2021.
