Samsung is rapidly expanding the reach of its August 2021 security patch to the eligible Galaxy devices. At the same time, the company is also distributing new software updates that include system security improvements with June and July 2021 security patches.

According to the info, the Galaxy M30s smartphone has started picking up its June 2021 security patch in India with a new firmware update. Identified via release build number – M307FXXU4CUG2, the new M30s update is deploying to a limited number of users in the country.

The changelog further suggests that the Galaxy M30s’ June 2021 update brings stability improvements and bug fixes. Additionally, it enhances the system functions and improves performance in order to deliver a better overall user experience.

What’s new with June 2021 security patch

Previously, Samsung disclosed that its June 2021 security patch brings fixes for 2 Critical (CVE-2021-0507, CVE-2021-0516), 27 High, and 5 Moderate levels of CVEs to Galaxy phones and tablets. Moreover, it also includes fixes for 19 SVEs from the OEM.

How to check for update manually?

As always, just open your device’s Settings, scroll down then tap on the Software updates menu. Wait for update checking and hit the Download and install button if the device recognizes a new OTA update.
