Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 spotted on Indonesia Telecom ahead of August 3rd launch

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have recently completed yet another certification, which brings them another step closer to the official launch. Both of these upcoming foldables have been listed as Project Q2 on the Indonesia Telecom database, courtesy of 91mobiles.

The listing reconfirms model numbers: SM-F926B and SM-F711B for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 respectively. However, the Indonesia Telecom listing doesn’t reveal such details regarding their key specs or design aspects.

It’s worth noting that Qualcomm has officially unveiled the overclocked variant of the latest Snapdragon 888 SoC i.e. the Snapdragon 888 Plus. The chipmaker confirmed that several OEMs will introduce their flagship phones with SD888+ in Q3 2021, while Samsung is missing from the list.

Nevertheless, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to come with the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus processor under the hood. In order to increase the demand and popularization of foldables, Samsung has reportedly planned to offer the upcoming foldable phones with 20% lesser pricing than predecessors.
