Recently, rumors surfaced online regarding Samsung’s next year’s Galaxy S series flagships that had revealed the display sizes. It is reported that the Galaxy S22 and S22+ could come with slightly smaller displays while the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s screen size could remain unchanged.

According to the latest rumor, the top model of the next year’s Galaxy S22 series, the Galaxy S22 Ultra may come with a premium glass back panel. Meanwhile, the back panel of the Galaxy S22 and S22+ might use an advanced processing tech along with the same plastic back.

However, these are just rumors as we’re months away from the launch of the Galaxy S22 series. But if we go with the recent leaks and rumors, it looks like Samsung is trying to widen the gap between the S22 lineup’s Ultra and standard version.

At the moment, the Galaxy S21 is the latest Galaxy S flagship lineup from Samsung. All of the models of this range come with a plastic back panel, at the same time, the display of the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

It is reported that by using a plastic back panel, Samsung can reduce manufacturing as well as selling costs and encourage consumers who were originally inclined to buy S22+ to buy S22 Ultra.
