2018’s Samsung Galaxy A8 luckier than Google Pixels as it gets June 2021 security update

Back in April 2021, Samsung updated the Galaxy A8 (2018) with a newer security patch that had increased the security level of this smartphone. Now, the company has started to roll out a new firmware update, which surprisingly comes with the latest security patch to date.

According to the latest information, the Galaxy A8 (2018) phone owners begun receiving the June 2021 security patch with a new software update in UAE. Since it’s an initial rollout that taking place with firmware version A530FXXSKCUF1.

It’s worth mentioning that the South Korean tech giant has released this latest security update to the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Flip (5G), and Galaxy A50 so far. And the Galaxy A8 now became the latest to grab this month’s security patch.

Till now, Samsung has not published the June 2021 security bulletin that details all the revisions and bug fixes for the One UI software system. Since last year, Samsung has impressively improved its software development as it now offering the new security patches far before Google’s high-profile Pixel phones.

Lastly, if you’ve not yet received the notification to download the June 2021 security update, then you can also check for it manually by heading towards device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.
