Samsung Galaxy A71 starts getting May 2021 security update

The Galaxy A71 is one of the most selling smartphone offerings from Samsung, which was launched last year. This device came with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 out of the box and currently running the One UI 3.1 on top of the Android 11 operating system.
However, this device had received the Android 11 update around two months ago, and it belongs to the quarterly update family, the company started releasing a new s/w update, which comes with a newer security patch. Initially released in Brazil, the new Galaxy A71 update bears version number A715FXXU4BUE1.
If we go with the changelog, this update installs the latest May 2021 security patch in order to increase system security. At the same time, it also brings enhancements to the system software and stock functions for a better overall user experience.
To check for software updates manually, just open device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install>> Install now.
Reminder: As you know, the Galaxy A71 launched with Android 10 and as per the company’s software upgrade policy, it is eligible for three major Android upgrades. That means you will be getting the One UI 3.5 update (Android 11) later this year, followed by Android 12 next year, and Android 13 in 2023.

May 2025 security update hitting Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 in the US

Following Korea and India, Samsung has kicked off the May 2025 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones in the US. The update is out for unlocked models, and carrier-locked models could soon get this update.
May 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones in the US can be identified via One UI build versions F956U1UES2BYE3 and F741U1UES2BYE3, respectively. The installation package size is around 480MB.
This new security update is based on Android 15, and the company has already started testing the One UI 8 build internally. One UI 8 will bring several enhancements and features for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, one of which could be Selfie Video Log.

US Samsung Galaxy S24 series gets May 2025 One UI 7 update

After South Korea, Samsung has pushed the One UI 7-based May 2025 security update to Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones in the US. This update is live for locked models on the Verizon and US Cellular network carriers.

Samsung Galaxy A35 picks up One UI 7 (Android 15) update in Middle East

Samsung is expanding the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy A35 smartphone in the Middle East. This update is already live in Europe and Korea, and is now available in Middle Eastern countries, including the UAE.
One UI 7 update brings several much-awaited changes, including a vertical scrolling app drawer, redesigned icons, better widget customization options, larger home screen folders, and a new user interface.

Samsung has started expanding the One UI 7 update for Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus users in the Global market. The fresh update is already live for users in South Korea, and the company is now making it available in India and Europe.
