December 2020 security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 in the US

Samsung has already begun the One UI 3.0 beta testing for unlocked Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ devices in the US. Meanwhile, the company is also taking care of the users who don’t want to encounter bugs and issues under the beta trial program and waiting for a stable Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update.

According to the latest information, the South Korean tech giant has started improving the security of the Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones via OTA in the US. It also enhances the system stability to increase user experience and brings performance improvements to the device’s features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series phones are now getting the latest December 2020 security patch for better device security. This new firmware update for the Galaxy Note 10 models are ready to install with build versions N970U1UES5DTKA and N975U1UES5DTKA for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively.

So far, Samsung has not released the December 2020 security patch details so it is early to state about the founded CVEs and exploits of this month. We can expect that the security bulletin will be published in the coming days.

As per the official update schedule of the Android 11/One UI 3.0, Samsung will start rolling out One UI 3.0 OTA from January next year. The One UI 3.0 brings new changes in the user interface of the lock screen, home screen, notifications, and quick panel. Once you update to One UI 3.0, you will get a smoother experience while using your device.
