Samsung Galaxy A71 receiving One UI 2.5 in Korea

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy A71 devices in South Korea. This update brings new features to the Galaxy A71 devices along with the October 2020 security patch for improved security and device stability. It comes with the build version A716SKSU3BTJ2.

The One UI 2.5 adds many new features for the Galaxy devices such as Samsung DeX, new Wi-Fi measurements as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow. The bitmoji Stickers are now supported on Always On Display, a new feature has been added to the keyboard search that supports Split Keyboard in Landscape mode.

A new Pro Video function has been improved to provide you better video shooting experience. Adding to this a new feature has been added in Messages that lets you call a person who is saved as a pre-configured SOS message contact.

Samsung has already started sending Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update for the eligible Galaxy devices. Many flagship and mid-range devices have received this latest firmware. The company has also released this update for budget smartphones including Galaxy M31, Galaxy M31s, and Galaxy M21.

To check for the update manually on your Galaxy device go to Settings > Sofware Update > then tap on Download and install.
